What do you like best about VoIP.ms?

The platform is super easy. The layout works well to navigate to each part of the admin portal and get the pertinent information. The customer service is super fast to help. When we first migrated to VOIP.MS they offered simple setup guides in their wiki and when I had qeustions I was able to chat with a support technician right away and get any issues resolved. What do you dislike about VoIP.ms?

I can't say that I dislike much of anything. Many other companies offer more extensive, more elaborate features, but we do not need those since we have a PBX in our office. I could rattle off further minor details like merging the default did routing and the DID Point of Presence, so the servers are connected there, but that might be some other deeper setting useful to other companies. If anything at all, I wish they had telephone support since they are a VOIP provider. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is VoIP.ms solving and how is that benefiting you?

The initial problem that led me to VOIP.ms was finding a cheap and straightforward VOIP service with DIDs. I was working with another company first, which claimed simple setup and easy-to-use admin portals. I spent two weeks messing with their settings and opening ports on my router firewall to get their service working, but nothing happened. Their tech support could not figure it out either and offered no further assistance. VOIP.ms offered more support over chat and their wiki pages, which made it easy to set up and get to calling right away. What do you like best about VoIP.ms?

VOIP.ms is an easy-to-use, high quality VOIP platform that makes it simple for small businesses to set up and maintain a VOIP phone system. You can quickly create an auto attendant which will answer your main phone line and then automatically direct callers to their intended person or information source (e.g., a recording giving directions, fax number, etc.). The rates are very affordable. We have saved thousands of dollars in phone service charges by using VOIP.ms instead of one of the big telcom companies to manage our phone service. What do you dislike about VoIP.ms?

While they do have useful FAQs and a wiki with lots of information on setting things up, it is very much a DIY service, so there is a certain amount of basic knowledge that is required in order to get things set up. But I did learn how to use it very quickly. Sometimes it is a challenge to find where on the menu structure certain things are located. But again this is not a big problem. What problems is VoIP.ms solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our original problem was to get an auto-attendant set up so that we didn't need to have a receptionist to direct inbound phone calls. The secondary problem was to provide quality phone service to our staff without having to purchase an expensive phone system with expensive monthly rates. VOIP.ms resoved both problems by having a simple, easy to understand online interface which allowed us to set up an auto attendant very quickly and then direct callers to the right place. It all works great and with no monthly recurring charges other than for DID (direct inward dial) phone numbers (small monthly fee for each DID) and actual usage. What do you like best about VoIP.ms?

Their geolocated servers cover all our office locations and their pricing is transparent. We're on a pay-as-you-go model, so the more we use the service, the more we pay, but inverse is also true. Since online videoconferencing has gained traction, our staff relies a little less on the phone system, reducing costs for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about VoIP.ms?

Their management backend feels a little dated or rather clearly made by a developer. Soemone who's less technical would certainly be lost using the interface. Since it's a quite customizable solution, a non-technical user could accidently break certain functionality if they poke around too much. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Scalability of our phone system. Our previous VOIP provider was limiting us to 2 channels. We now have as many people using the phone system without limitations. What do you like best about VoIP.ms?

I have been using it for a few years! During the pandemic with the need to have multiple kids on the phone at the same time, it was a life saver. I have a DECT SIP phone and with 4 phones being able to run simelatanously it allowed all my kids to be on the phone for school at the same time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

If you want the ability to use your Phone numbers and add other area codes from wherever you are and at the same time allow for multiple calls without ordering new lines, phone numbers etc. this is the solution for you! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is VoIP.ms solving and how is that benefiting you?

No need to deal with carriers anylonger. Bell / Rogers and other ILEC/CLEC and Phone carriers are "over charging" and using the "reliant / dependable" but they are really just taking advantage of the consumer who has nowhere to go. VOIP.MS provides an option to remove your need to deal with the Carriers, You can move your number and have it go anywhere you need . Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about VoIP.ms?

I've used VOIP.MS for over 11 years; and am 100% satisfied. I've literally saved many thousands of dollars over what traditional phone services would cost ($1,100 in 11 years at voip.ms for 5 phone numbers ringing in every month)... Traditional phone lines (5) for 11 years would be in excess of $40,000 at $60/month (and we all know that AT&T gets more than $60/month per line!

What do you like best about VoIP.ms?

VoIP.ms is a very affordable VoIP solution. Their support is friendly and willing to help configure anything my company requires. My company does not have a central office so it's nice for my team to be able to take and make work calls just from an app on their phone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about VoIP.ms?

Because of the low price they do not have all of the functionality of some other VoIP providers (chief among this is the requirement to purchase a seperate VoIP app as they do not provide their own.)

They have some limitations in how picture messaging works and have no way have providing an autoresponder for incoming text messages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about VoIP.ms?

I have been a customer of Voip.ms since approximately April 2010. For 11 years, I have been delighted with this Voice Over IP company. Voip.ms provide high-quality service and extremely reliable. The options seem endless, and most, if not all, are included in the extremely low cost. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about VoIP.ms?

The only thing that I can think of is that the payment method. As far as I am aware, we can only pay in US dollars, and I would like the option to be able to pay in Canadian dollars, not just US dollars converted to Canadian dollars. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
