With my experience to greenplum pivotal. It helps a lot to join the required entity for our main table and also helps to quickly extract the necessary information for our enterprise application for OLAP transaction. command center (greenplum's monitoring tool) isn't able to process and display correct information when the server is under high load.

Compression is not supported for "normal " tables.

I am working as Greenplum admin since 2017, we have migrated from orcle, Postgres. I am having good experience and the utilities are user friendly. If we understand the architecture then you can save lot of time while doing backups and restore. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
