VisitDays is also quick and responds when you have questions and typically can help solve the issue you are asking for assistance with. Product is easy for client and customer. The team at VisitDays was really helpful, both in our setup, as well in assisting our team with setting up and updating hundreds of profiles. We worked with Visit Days on a new initiative and as our needs (and feedback from our registrants and attendees shifted), VisitDays was able and willing to work with us on necessary adjustments to meet our needs. Visit Days has been a huge asset to our visit experience at our university. Our visitor engagement increased by over 40% within the first year. The show up rate has been incredible. We continue to see an average 90+% show up rate month over month. The survey is simple but the data is extremely helpful. The prospective students appreciate the text message reminders and check in along with email reminders. The visitor and administrator access is very user friendly. I am a regional recruiter for a video game design/development college. My school is in Redmond, WA, but my territory is Texas, and I am from Texas. My school is very well known in the Seattle/Redmond area but not very well known here in Texas. I love this platform and the idea of it being "like Netflix for the college journey...". Especially after Covid, students/counselors are over the scheduled "virtual visit." Although this is virtual, it is at their own time and their own space to view and learn on their own. So it gives me a great way to reach many students who, because of lack of brand awareness or overdone with the virtual world, would not have the opportunity to learn more about us. We are not for every student, but for those interested in art/animation and or game design and development, we are an excellent option.
Also, as a parent of two high school students who are very different in how they research and learn more about their career interests and colleges they are interested in, I appreciate the ability and flexibility this platform offers. Not only to them individually but to us as a family. It's very easy to casually sit down together and learn more of what's out there and available to them. So grateful that we had the VisitDays platform during COVID-19 pandemic. I had to convert In-person processes to be virtual, and VisitDays enabled me to do that successfully. I was able to host a YouTube Instructional Video for our new students to follow, and I could track who accessed it and who had not. I still use the VisitDays platform and our YouTube Video as step 1 of our process because it truly made our office more accessible to our students. So grateful for VisitDays platform. I am still learning all the intricacies of the tool, but the only feedback I have is about being able to customize the questions. It is designed for prospective students so most of the information is geared toward prospective students. I use it to onboard are newly admitted students so I would like to be able to customize the questions to be more specific to "admitted" students. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

VisitDays is an excellent platform for students and parents to access colleges and other resources to help them prepare for college and career. The coordination was so easy, and everything flowed so naturally. There was minimal stress in planning, and it was a tremendous success. I look forward to future collaboration with James and Sujoy. Being able to use such an easy online platform during the pandemic has been life-saving. Converting in-person events to virtual can be a lot and complicated, but Visit Days makes it extremely easy! Not only can you use direct video chatting and text chatting, but also being able to show videos to students was so helpful. My entire office uses VisitDays regularly and it has truly helped keep us afloat during these times when connecting with students is so valuable. Overall, there is not much to dislike about the platform at all! Especially coming from an admissions counselor specifically, this platform is geared towards prospective students specifically, which is what I need. However, being able to customize some of the questions would be great. Also, having a mobile phone app available would be appreciated, as some students have to connect to visits on their phone versus a computer just due to their situation, schedule, or wifi access. The customer support is excellent. If I ever have a question, the VisitDays team responds very quickly. I also like how there are so many different ways to connect with prospective students. A student doesn't have to attend a scheduled session or request a meeting or activate the live chat option (although those all work!). Since our college is so small and with no real name recognition, our virtual fair sessions have been not so well-attended. (But we've still been able to get a decent number of contacts for follow-up) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The best part is the ease of scheduling a tour or visit on the calendar. I can easily create different types of visits that range from a daily visit to a group tour of one of the research facilities. Also, the customer service is excellent. I had a question on how to create virtual events, campaigns, and live sessions. The one thing that I dislike is not the software, but VisitDays would be great if they had a mobile app for phones. Having access on a phone would help my recruiters and ambassadors with knowing who they are giving a tour to and who they will be meeting with without having to get their laptop out or having to deal with the web browser on the phone.
