What do you like best about Vimeo?

Vimeo continues to be the video hosting platform that is best for me as someone that is a video professional but not interested in the complexities of self-hosting. It just works. It looks good, the player is customizable, and on my website my videos look the way I want them to. There are no ads shown to my viewers and nothing to distract from the design. What do you dislike about Vimeo?

There's not much to dislike, honestly. Vimeo has been predictable. You do need to watch your daily upload limits which depend on your subscription level, but I've never had an issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Vimeo solving and how is that benefiting you?

Vimeo allows me to showcase my video portfolio in a clean, non-distracting way that I can customize and fit the look and feel of my website. What do you like best about Vimeo?

Vimeo's video quality surpasses other platforms, with a minimalistic player and tailored features for both professionals and casual content creators. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The free and pro plans offer limited options and bandwidth. The subscription model is not advantageous when compared with other video platforms. The player has a sleek design but can be buggy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The video player has a minimalistic design and can be customized with a white label. The videos can be made available to the public or restricted to authorized clients only. What do you like best about Vimeo?

It is an inexpensive option for hosting videos that allows you to control the experience the viewer has. On YouTube, the viewer will get served up other video options. Here, you can put a stop to it and decide what is at the end of a video. It is easy to integrate into other websites. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Vimeo?

I appreciate the ease in which we can take videos and create what is needed from those videos in any format. One file source can immediately be turned into anything from clips, webinars, to virtual events. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Vimeo?

The navigation of the overall file/folder can take a little bit to get adjusted to. I would also appreciate if an "Event" can be stored in a Project/Client folder AND Events. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Vimeo?

I used to use vimeo to display/showcase my videos (as a portfolio) for my freelance video production and editing career. It's free plan helped me to kickstart my career as it was the first site I used. The customer support were also were active at solving my issues whenever any issues occured at my page/videos. What do you dislike about Vimeo?

The site in particular is great but they changed their free plan from 500mb per week (10 uploads a day) to 2 videos a month. That was a pivotal moment as I then realised it is not feasible to continue my portfolio here and shifted to other paid options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Vimeo solving and how is that benefiting you?

I am a freelance video editor and I used to send my works to clients using a google drive folder link,, Most of the times the client would complaint that the google drive video is not playing/showing some errors, So I decided to shift to vimeo. With its free plan I could upload upto 500mb per week, So I used to compress my videos and post it there and it looked way more professional than google drive. The best part of the vimoe is to host and make the videos publicly and the user interface is good where the user can upload the videos without any inconvience Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
