What do you like best about Vendure?

Vendure offers a perfect core software that allows every kind of customization. It's equipped with latest technologies and concepts and therefore we were able to easily learn about and extend the vendure platform. Vendure being open-source also brings the benefit of really owning the code that I run my business on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Vendure?

Currently you have to self host it. Therefore, for a scalable solution that handles thousands of active users, some knowledge about building and maintaining infrastructure is required. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Vendure solving and how is that benefiting you?

We needed to build a rental marketplace that required many features similar to a common e-commerce shop. This marketplace demanded extensive customizations in payments and payouts, shipping options, stock management, and handling of customer-owned assets.

Vendure provided a solution that made implementing these highly customized features straightforward. By using Vendure, we were able to gain the basic features of an e-commerce platform while leveraging the framework to meet our highly individual needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Vendure?

What do you dislike about Vendure?

Not much to say in this section, but what I wish for Vendure is a bigger community. More contributions, more features, more poeple involved - so it can grow even bigger and faster. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Vendure solving and how is that benefiting you?

I used Vendure to build a simple online store and decided to automate the work involved in the deployment. I used Railway.app for server infrastructure, which combined with Vendure's modularity made this easy. I succeeded in creating a deploy template that anyone is free to use. The deploy template will launch a Vendure backend, a database, a React webshop frontend (also built by the Vendure team), connect all the peices and host it on Railway with just one click.

Vendure is offering an open source single or multi vendor e-commerce platform. It allows you to implement the platform without taking any percentage of sales, nor ask for a licensing fee. It's the perfect companion for a startup that wants to focus on streamlining their digital commercial process and deliver the end user exactly what they need customizing the experience to the exact level that you need, or simply deliver an "out of the box shop". Our clients expect us to build e-commerce solutions that fit their business. Often these solutions can not be achieved through the existing e-commerce platforms.
