It saves us bandwidth on our website by hosting all videos here and then resuing it wherever required on email campaigns, landing pages or websites etc. Also with the advantage of customising the video player as per our branding is a great option as the page looks unified and aesthetic. Sometimes video upload takes more time than expected and causes delays for us as we need to upload videos daily. Initially also faced video not loading in some of the browsers but that bug has now been fixed. Its still not 100% but better than there competitors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love that we can Customize the player to match my brand. Record or host your ad-free videos on a secured cloud .. yes ad-freeeeee!

I can customize the colors and picture. It will download your videos directly from a youtube URL. Speed is good so far.

The Banner for team members that have a free site in order to share projects with a paid user is quite annoying.

. I did come across some lading bugs.. Also would like to see more integration with other recording apps.It is okay for personal use but still needs some work for business use. I know they have a lot on the roadmap.. So I'm hopeful. I want to be a little easier to organize teams and oversee all projects. Vadootv is a simple yet powerful way to host, manage and share your videos. It's straightforward to use and is highly affordable. You can even start free if you want! Vadootv has helped me save a lot of time by making it easier to organize my video files on the Vadootv site, using projects and folders. I couldn't find any significant cons yet as it serves my use cases satisfactorily. If I have to give anything to improve to cater to my needs is I hope it can be manageable on mobile. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Vadoo is the only video platform that lets you deliver videos and audio to wherever you want. That's why I like it. It doesn't rely on YouTube or any other platform.

I can now create content for any platform without worrying about users seeing broken links. I also don't have to worry about publishing something and then having it deleted, or even worse, someone coming to a page I embedded a video in and finding that the video has been removed.

Encryption is the most important step in securing your video content. HLS encryption makes it much more difficult for people to steal your content. It provides great peace of mind and makes it easier for customers to purchase from you. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I was looking for a nice video player with all the controls for hosting my training videos and vadoo.tv came at the right time with a lifetime deal. Things that I like:

1) The Vadoo team responds to its customers fast if there's any query or issue. A software is as good as the service behind it.

2) Video player is nice looking, highly customizable, have all the necessary controls. Can be web embedded, email embedded, or shared through URL on a landing page.

3) Web app has inbuilt video recorder for screen share or camera recording, that replaces software's like Loom, although not quite there yet. There's also a Chrome recorder extension. Seriously looking for improvement in this area.

4) Comes with plenty of storage space which are hosted on Amazon S3. Users have option to use videos hosted elsewhere and use just the vadoo player for streaming.

5) Audio player also available.

6) Video requests can be sent e.g. to customers for review videos that directly uploads to the app.

7) Feature to protect unauthorized download.

8) Custom branding of email embeds, landing page and player.

9) CNAME for landing page on your own site (for certain plans)

10) UI has been improved but not necessarily the best.

The team is working toward making it better. Some of things I don't like at present (Dec 2021) are:

1) Chrome extension for recorder interface isn't fully developed yet and requires redesign. Videos recorded cannot be edited/trimmed before upload. Camera gets turned on when it should be disabled (screen share option). Looms works a lot better. But recording quality is good. This is pending for long long time.

2) Videos can be recorded via the web app aren't 16:9 format, they are more square. This includes the request videos (customer reviews e.g.)

3) HD quality video playback for videos hosted on vadoo is not available on all plans.

4) CNAME option is not available on all plan. Emails etc are not fully white labelled

5) User interface/menu is a little difficult to follow, but I am sure they will change it for better and make it more intuitive in future once more functionalities have been added.

6) Forms to capture leads are very basic and limited functionality

7) need more integrations with other software, such as Gurucan

8) Link to video file for sharing is not available directly, it is accessible via vadoo landing page, for security reason they say.

9) Limited analytics, better expected soon

10) Team needs to listen to customers and give them what they want on priority. At the moment, team picks what they want in their priority list.

Uploading videos is simple and fast. I would like to highlight the really dedicated founders! You can't keep up with all the updates they provide almost every day. Requests from the community are taken up immediately and usually implemented super fast. That is really great! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I tried to record a video directly from the browser using the included Chrome extension, expecting high, but was disappointed. It does not seem to be fully developed yet. For example, I don’t have access to all extended advertising features (they don’t exist at all). The dashboard could also use a refresh, it looks a bit loveless. Few things Vadoo TV team should update -

Support is very poor. They are not updating vadootv.

1. Video analytics is very basic.

2. More than one video cannot be moved from one folder to another at the same time.

3. More than one video cannot be deleted simultaneously.

4. Cannot upload more than 5 videos at a time.

5. The video cannot be copied, if I want to copy the video then I have to re-upload that video again. Because the same content has to be published on different platform with different branding, this can be a must-have feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The simplicity and capability to do customization, like custom brand color, cname, put password, embed everywhere, and vadoo have great community on facebook, so whether i need help, there always someone in community can give me solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sometime the UI feel like old design. Also sometime upload speed is too slow compared upload to youtube, im from indonesia, hope this can be fixed soon. Slower 3x times than Youtube. Maybe it due server location. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
