The interface for settings and player customizations are so much easier to use compared to YouTube and Vimeo.

Host both video files and audio files; embed both on your website (or use their landing page), see traffice statistics for videos.

The audio player allows adding a thumbnail, customize colors, show or hide controls, allow or disallow downloads, auto-loop, and autoplay.

For videos, upload or choose to record your screen (download mp4 after recording to edit). Upload a video background, customize all the controls, custom url, password protect... most everything you need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The audio player does not have volume controls.

Audio files are individually embedded. You can't create/embed an album.

No domain protection or traffic statistics for audio files (both of these are on their roadmap).

No video editing features.

Loads of integrations, not just the normal Zapier that usually very basic. They support multiple domains and CNAME with plans to support agencies that have various clients. They also allow you to brand your video players to fit your client's brand colors.

Very attentive support and a roadmap that outlines longevity, proving they will not become another abandonware SaaS.

If that's not enough, they give you analyrics, so you know what videos are working!

Currently still testing performance as they claim fast CDN, which most any video host would have to do to compete these days, but I know for sure Youtube and Vimeo have slow iframes that include additional js scripts, html and css to be loaded. I'm still testing, but I believe Vadoo has optimized the way they integrate directly to sites. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have experience with a couple of similar software services, but Vadoo seems to be the one that wins when it comes to simplicity. It is really straight forward to use. It is possible to neatly organize everything into projects to stay organized. Uploading and importing is super simple. There are also features to record directly on the page / via a plugin and to collect videos from others, but I am not using Vadoo for this job. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

So far everything seems to be working fine. Folder would be nice to have for even more fine grained organization opportunities. But everything has been very easy to set up and I cannot really say a lot more about given my current status of usage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

At first, I found the loading to be slow, but then realized I had other systems running in the back that affected my Wi-fi. Once fixed Vadootv ran smoothly. At this moment everything is absolutely great with no dislikes. The more I dive into Vadootv the better it gets and I am overjoyed and excited to see the great things they have on their roadmap. I've been looking for a new video hosting platform and I'm really glad I found VadooTV. Many video hosting plattforms focus on video or statistics or player. VadooTV does that and add request videos, screen capture, captions etc. There are also great features on their roadmap. VadooTV is really simple to use and fast. The team is very responsive, adjusts to feedback and implement new features quickly.

- You can choose to have a animated GIF Thumbnail for the video and don’t have to create it separately.

The team address things quickly and I hope all of these will be added as features...

- VadooTV has a 1.5 GB file limit limit so if you have longer video files and want a higher bitrate you might need to devide the file in to smaller parts.

- Videos can only be played in VadooTV player. No direct URL to play to use on other platforms, course platforms or other players on a wordpress site.

- You can’t copy over youtube videos to VadooTV only play them through their player. So suggested videos etc still shows.

- There are no way to add text, contact info, release forms that needs to be approved before saving when a person does a video testimonial.

- There are only captions/subtitles available in one language.

- No customisation for captions/subtitle style and size.

- No light meter or audio levels meter for video recordings or video requests.

- User interface can be improved and streamlined.

- No direct integration to autoresponder plattforms for lead capture

File uploads and processing are very fast compared to some other services I’ve tried.

The interface is straightforward for a non-expert but all the essentials are there: player controls, CTA’s, analytics, password protection and encryption. I love the video landing pages because that way I can get a video out quickly without haveing to customize web pages first.

I was able to upload a video and customize the player really quickly. I’m also impressed with the streaming performance under various network conditions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There isn’t a lot for me to dislike right now. A couple of minor things. I have found that changing video resolution while playing is a little wonky. Sometimes it works and sometimes the player will freeze and you have to reload the page. I would also like to be able to set an option for some users to download but I think they are working on that. The reason why I buy this product is for the security it offers by not letting my content download with programs on the web of everyday use Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I have not found so far is the possibility of creating folders within a project, and I think it will be beneficial; the truth is that if one creates content, opens a project, and hopes to be able to place different courses in it. With such an array of resources and video marketing possibilities, Vadootv Player is a serious contender as they duly listen to their customers and relentlessly develop and improve their product with diligence and great speed. The backend is straightforward to use, video delivery is fast, buffer-free with a great CDN. Customization of the video player is so versatile, with no branding and bandwidth limits; a no-brainer for anyone working with videos.

Easy to use and a great deal for video hosting. The product is simple to use and the product team is very active in the Facebook group with so many more features on the roadmap. Unlimited bandwidth, make this one an easy decision for anyone who uses video to sell their products and services.
