My absolute favorite part of using V7 is the expertise the team brings to the table. Folks at my organization are subject-matter experts that sometimes have computer literacy issues, and the V7 team is comprehensive and thoughtful in their user experience design. So far, I've not experienced any downsides. I wish there were more straightforward ways to assign or reassign things for tagging, but those are merely minor feature requests. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The user interface is really intuitive, and the reviewing cycle allows management of teams in an organized manner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would like that the smart annotating tool enable creating multiple polygons for one object with one run (without having to merge polygons) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The API is my favourite feature as it allows us to create custom wrappers and packages to optimize our annotation processes. The customer support is second-to-none with quick response times and timely bug fixes. They also regularly seek feedback and continually improve the V7 experience. The workflow management is also excellent, with plenty more features coming soon. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes it can be hard to find relevant documentation. The Python SDK is lacking slightly but it provides plenty of examples and the open API makes up for it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Alberto and his team (from project managers to annotators) have been very responsive and helpful from the get-go. They were also involved with consulting with another company that is building our image capture machine/robot that would be generating the images used to train the model. The V7 platform is very intuitive, easy to use and able to handle large amount of data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
None I could think of, we are very happy with them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The V7 wesbite is super sleek, intuitive, and easy to use. Within a couple of minutes you're off to the races and can annotate quickly. The team is highly responsive and helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The payment is on both per-use basis and per-month basis. So if we do not use the product for a month, we must pay all the same. A small price to pay though as the rates are fair! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The interface is easy to navigate and intuitive. Support is prompt and knowledgable. The auto-annotate tool is world-class and saves substantial time for semantic pixel labeling. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Limited handling for video with random motion. I think you could apply some basic optical flow techniques across the whole image to provide better projection of annotations from one frame to the next. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The built-in auto annotation and the ability to train an ai to handle annotations are great advantages V7 over its competitors. We used this software with dicoms of MRIs and the software was able to create very precise polygons even with little data provided. Another great advantage from a data science point of view are the multiple exportation options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Pricing listed is a bit vague and the functionality with a tablet is still a bit subpar/not thought through. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

James and Alberto are very hands on with the whole process and constantly providing prompt feedback and help along the way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not much complaint about V7. Still in the piloting process so support has been great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The V7 video annotation tool we found to be very useful. The interpolation feature allows the time per task to be cut by almost 50%. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
You can export annotations in COCO format but it is missing skeletons. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
