What I appreciate most about using V7 Darwin's diverse variety of annotation tools is it is fast, simple, and functional. The experience has been smooth and hassle-free; the subtract and merge tools are beneficial for pixel-perfect labeling, which is a tremendous advantage and something I've never seen before. It also offers an easy-to-navigate user interface. V7's navigation is a joy to work with. Work is made easier and faster to complete, which increases production. Compared to other platforms, the V7 tools are excellent and easy to use. To make things even easier, the features are clearly labeled. In terms of cutting down on work time, they have the easiest shortcuts. It makes tagging and annotating a lot faster and makes me more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The platform works without trouble, the work is quickly saved, and it is easy to recover it. As a result, there is not much lag or freezing of the platform during use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The platform's User Interface is one of my favorite aspects of this annotation tool. Because everything you need to work with is simply accessible and the hotkeys are so nicely implemented, you'll be able to work more quickly. The icons used to symbolize each tool are clear and understandable, making it simple for users to navigate between them. When used properly, tools like polygon and polyline simplify image annotations while also improving accuracy.
I particularly like the fact that you can view the datasets that are available to you while working, so you can also choose to hide that feature so that you can focus on the tasks at hand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
V7's occasional tendency to lag while working with large datasets increases the amount of time you spend on the assignment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Personally, I have learned a lot using V7 Darwin and we have benefitted as a company from its Annotation Tools and Interface. The UI is straightforward and the tools are clearly laid out, making the platform less difficult to understand compared to others. With just a few hours of exploration, a beginner can get used to the tools and shortcuts. At least that's how it was for me. We were tasked with labeling a very demanding project a while ago and it was thanks to Darwin's precise Polygon tool, merge/separation tools and visible time tracking on the interface, that we were able to deliver accurate-high quality labels in good time. Darwin is definitely my first choice if 'Speed and Accuracy' are the main targets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing bad if I'm being honest. If you could pitch in an image searching pane for users so we choose the asset we want to work on? V7 is my go-to! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I switched from Scale AI to V7 and I have been impressed with the UI.
The colorful/simple UI makes it nice to work with. The annotated dataset has a colorful view especially when you turn on the sub-annotation feature.
With video annotation, the interpolate feature is very useful, especially in the case of annotating moving vehicles, we find it makes video annotation less time-consuming.
The polygon tool with the "merge" and "subtract" feature helps to prevent labeled datasets from overlapping. In the case of labeling human beings, you can merge the same parts of a human being as a single entity when it is being occluded by an object. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
V7 Darwin is a great platform with first-class tools. I would definitely recommend it to annotators everywhere. I do not dislike anything Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

QA Workflow
The ability to create different QA workflows is a feature that has helped our team a lot. We can have different levels of QA review of the same task before client delivery, this goes a long way to ensure our work is of the good quality.
Support
One of the best customer service support teams out there. They reach out and attend to issues being faced promptly, fix bugs, and are always open for feedback. Some features our team had requested were implemented, how cool is that?
The V7 Support team has been very helpful - from onboarding to data management.
Auto Annotate
V7’s auto annotate feature cannot be ruled out. It is very responsive and accurate and such has reduced the amount of time we use during annotation. One can great multiple polygons of a complex object in seconds as compared to the normal way of annotating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
So far so good. Nothing to dislike, except the updates that makes the platform lag. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love their UI. Very user friendly. Easy panning of images that helps speed up annotation. Their shortcuts aren't limited, everything you want to do has a key for it, which makes annotation easy. Most especially, I love their label count feature and the image manipulation feature! Amazing stuff. I can confidently say it is the best UI for data annotation I have ever come across.
This feature is definitely the team's favorite and something that sets V7 apart from other labeling platforms. Annotation time reduced significantly and enabled us create multiple instances of the various tools or classes by just hitting "N"
We really like the open API. We could easily export our data and create over a thousand classes via the CLI SDK. Quite impressed with it. Made my life easy for one.
Importing and exporting data in multiple formats, including Geotiff, was a nice surprise and proved quite helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Occasional platform lags and sign-outs is an annoyance but everything else on the platform is great. Also, the inabilty to get worker stats on a project in a more explicable format, even without exporting.
I'd recommend implementing Lidar Annotation Tools, though. It'd be a plus for you and your customers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
ability to automate repetitive tasks and improve efficiency in the annotation process. It can also provide tools for quality control, such as duplicate detection and annotation consistency checks Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
the tool is not user-friendly or intuitive, making it difficult for users to navigate and utilize all of its features and thus i think the interface and help feature must be improved Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"V7 has very fast responsiveness to feedback and suggestions from its user's perspective. Communication with V7 personnel about bugs is usually very interactive. Some of my suggestions for additional features were quickly delivered and I love their response. It makes working on V7 more productive and easier.
User-friendly interface. Navigation on V7 is very user-friendly. It helps boost production as work is made easier and faster to complete. A stunning UI, so far the best I have seen.
Can't forget about the tools. Wow. I love the tools on V7. The brush is easy to use compared to other platforms. The attributes are easy to identify and select. The shortcuts are most efficient as they help shorten work time.
This feature is undeniably one of the most useful features on V7. This feature makes V7 stand out from other platforms. It helps reduce annotation time tremendously and this speeds up my labelling process. It is beyond doubt to say this is the best feature on V7." Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
"So far, so good. Nothing to dislike at the moment. Less good on NLP but this seems to be something they're building out and annotations seem to get out of image borders." Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"V7 Darwin is accurate, user-friendly and functional, a wide variety of tools make annotation relatively quick and easy.
The subtract and merge options are particularly useful for pixel-perfect labeling which is a big plus and not something I've seen elsewhere, the experience so far has been smooth with no issues. V7 is my go-to platform." Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
"Not much to say here, the platform works well with no hindrance, and the work is promptly saved and easily retrieved. No problems. The platform does not freeze and makes for a smooth experience." Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My company performs a lot of data labelling using multiple platforms - we choose V7 frequently for Computer Vision projects due to the ease of managing workflows and quality control stage gates, the simplicity of the UX, the auto-annotate feature - and the fact that its preferred by our annotators. They also have a fantastic and highly responsive team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not much honestly. Not as strong on NLP yet (or certain data types like LIDAR) but I expect this might be a growth area for the company, and I wouldn't be surprised if they tackle these areas with the same zeal and competency should they choose to invest in them.
