Upshift is a pleasure to work with. Their customer service is very responsive and my account manager is fantastic, Azra is always on top of my needs and works to make sure we are always covered. I love that when I create a shift that I can select the rate of pay for the position and not have to do the math to amke sure I am listing the position at the correct rate (minus fees) . it is a bit tough operationaly speaking because we have multiple units associated with our account. They're all managed by different managers and the invoices only go to one person even though each account is assigned to a different manager. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The convenience of being able to reach out and get shifts filled ina short time frame. It's usually best to post those shifts at least a week in advance, but we've also had last minute day of/day before shifts get posted and filled. It's very convenient and quick. All in all the service is extremely helpful. The only downside is the ability for upshifters to cancel their shifts the day of mere moments before their shift start time. Sometimes this leaves us with expecting the help and not receiving it, but then again that's something controlled by personnel and not service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The best thing for me is not only the pool of reliable part-time and at times full-time help. I love that Zach our Sr. Account Manager is always so helpful. The things I dislike about Upshift - It has more to do with the website. Now, I may just be missing something, but it seems that I have to post a job then I invite the temps that I want. To me, it would make more sense to invite the temps or your upshifters before posting. For example, I had a job to post, which I did, and then I invited my upshifters and it ended up with 4 or 5 hires for a 2 position shift. The system does not stop taking the temps since I had both temps at the moment of posting taking the shift in addition to the temps I invited. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Upshift is responsive to questions, corrections and needs at all hours. I appreciated some of the seminars/presentations they have done regarding retention of people, for example (based on their own research and surveys of Upshifters). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We have had some trouble with new Upshifters. It can be a coin flip to bring in someone who has no previous shifts worked. They tend to cancel on us far more often than veterans do. This can be a Catch-22, because new workers don't become reliable veterans if no one gives them a chance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
