Upland Adestra is a very moderate and reliable email marketing solution for businesses of all sizes, but I think it is more suitable for small to medium-sized businesses. From selecting templates, customization, sending out emails, and analytics – I think the whole process is smooth and very much sustainable. Upland Adetra is pretty great when it comes to the customization of emails and templates alongside landing pages for better and greater outcomes. The search feature overall – and the search for specific pictures, documents, or any important work is just not available. This has been giving us a tough time since the start. Although we have found our own loopholes to this issue, this is not a nice and favorable situation. The interface of Adestra seems to be a bit complex for many new users and we have been trying our best to guide them until they grasp it – it works. Support is fantastic, account management is dedicated to supporting our teams in finding solutions and coming up with new ideas. Other marketing solutions certainly meet our needs, but the Upland Adestra team is what sets this company apart. We had a few glitches while setting up the account where we didn't fully understand the data requirements. Together, we found an intermediate solution that allowed us to move forward, and Upland Adestra took the time and took the plunge to understand our complexities and develop a tailored solution that met our current needs and prepared us for the future. Upland Adestra is very simple and easy to use. I never had the experience of coming across such a friendly tool that reduces my workload manifold. Although, I had to learn this tool from scratch because of no previous experience yet I found it very self-explanatory and customization is very easy. The reports on Upland Adestra cannot be easily manipulated and exporting these reports is another problem. Campaigns cannot be compared with each other and thus, one cannot have an idea of which type of campaign has worked better. There are few options for exporting. Scheduling of emails is currently not possible with Upland Adestra, and this must be added to the tool. I am not a fan of Adestra’s layout though. I face a big lag when I am supposed to switch between certain pages and some of the things are hard to find. So, I would say that the interface could be much better. 2. Their API is very outdated. Although they have a more modern one in place, there is no public documentation, and they won't even mention it to you unless you ask.

I think its pretty easy to use. I never used an email program like this so I had to learn from scratch. I found it pretty self explanatory to complete the general email requirements. The templates in Adestra are fairly easy to use and manipulate once you have them setup. This keeps emails uniform while still allowing creativity and customization without needing HTML knowledge and skills. The support team is helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Adestra reports are not easily manipulated and exported for further analysis. There is no way to compare campaigns. Exporting options are limited and sometimes require a page by page look at the list. Sending emails at a set date / time is difficult since it is only set for one timezone. Options to make simple additions to templates do not exist and require support, which is not available for all time zones during business hours.
