Many features don't work as advertised. I couldn't rely on any of the numbers the system provided. Worst of all was the licensing and customer support. Many promises were made and not delivered on. When I needed to change my subscription, they tried to disallow me from downgrading licenses. BEWARE: IN ORDER TO MAKE ANY CHANGES TO LOWER LICENSES OR TERMINATE, THEY REQUIRE A 3 MONTH WRITTEN ADVANCE NOTIFICATION. THEY WERE STICKLERS ON THIS POINT EVEN THOUGH I VERBALLY TOLD THEM OF MY PLANS. THEY'RE TRYING TO BILL BE FOR AN ADDITIONAL YEAR NOW EVEN THOUGH WE ARE MIGRATING OFF THE SOFTWARE DUE TO THEIR TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The PSA Suite in combination with Dynamics 365 gives many configuration possibilities and customisation options. The system is based on some project processes and will work well for big organisations using the same processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The usability is bad. The system is not intuitive. It takes a long time to get known to all the different fields and functionalities. For example a save button shows sometimes up in another place then it used it be in other screens. Filling your timesheet needs different screens because it functionalities are different in the Calendar and in the Line view. Employees are complaining about long times filling in their timesheets.

Data is not reliable, when trying to implement the financial system. Also reporting is a difficult part with customised reports because the data is not correct and tables in Dynamics are a mass.

- Resource Planning Tools: something you would not be able to configure yourself in Dynamics, but very user friendly and workable

- Gantt Chartt Tools: something you would not be able to configure yourself in Dynamics, but very user friendly and workable

- Creating credit notes: When creating a credit note of a sent invoice, the credit note is instantly 'PSA approved' meaning the credit note is instantly booked, so you cannot first change your credit note bofore approving it.

- Structure of Projects was not very flexible so we had to change it a lot to make it fit our needs, and to automate processes within Projects

- Creating Journal Entries is not very flexible and configurable part of the system, so in order to meet our companies demands, we had to write an own plugin which creates Journal Entries the way we want it Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The software and User Interface is very user friendly and keeps everything in D365. As an APSA Implementation Consultant, the easiest part of the process is getting buy in from the client because it's so easy for them to track time and the software does the rest. There are only few documentations that cover some of the functions of APSA. Unless you are an expert is very scenario, it is sometimes hard to troubleshoot some common issues or cases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The user interface is powerful. You are immediately used to the screens and the way of working. Unit4 also has a vision about where they want to go with the solution. After you understand the logic of project management PSA is a good tool for define project activity, define a budget and cost management.

Response times of screens sometimes are a bit long. Changing layouts for reports (e.g. invoices) requires knowledge of Microsoft reporting service and for most companies, therefore, you need a consultant/developer to implement changes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
