Cura is incredibly intuitive, which is saying something since 3D printing has a ton of variables to deal with. However, they are all laid out in a way that just makes sense. Best of all, I've never had a single "software issue" through any of my hundreds of prints. Anything that has gone wrong has been on me due to a configuration error, or something with the printer itself.
It has worked well with every printer I've tested it with, and all have been in the system so basic settings like print area, nozzle size, etc are automatically pulled in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My biggest complaint is the view tools, such as panning, rotating and otherwise changing the view of the model you are setting up to print. While the setting are readily available, you will find yourself playing with various key/mouse combinations to check all the angles you'll need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The capability of being able to control a lot of my printer settings and the friendly user interface Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It never failed me, does everything it is supposed to and a bit more Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Its an amazing software with almost no issues. One thing if I had to absoulutely point out would be that its resource intensive compared to softwares like Slic3r. Oh and on big models it crashes sometimes when you click slice, or the slicing progress bar gets stuck.
While Ultimaker Cura supports multiple extruders, the handling of multi-material prints can be more complex compared to dedicated multi-material slicing software. Users looking for extensive multi-material and multi-color printing capabilities may find some limitations in Ultimaker Cura's current feature set.
Also they have a weird support by default that doesn't work well in my printer, but that could be just me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ease of use and the ease of implementation with the design programs we use like SolidWorks, FreeCAD, etc., and with all the 3D printing machines we have used, like the Prusa or the Witbox, Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
That does not allow modifying pieces, and we have to use other programs like the program Kisslacer to fix the pieces. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that it is very easy to use, very intuitive, you can set every specification for printing and you can save your profiles for each material. Also it has default profiles Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are a lot of hidden feautes and sometimes it is not very easy to find them. Also there are a lot of extra extension but sometimes they do not work very well Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This is an amazing, free software to 3D model items for successful 3D printing applications. After watching some youtube videos to guide me, the software became very easy to navigate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I cannot point out any single factor that I disliked about Ultimaker Cura because I am still fairly new to 3D modeling and 3D printing. This is a widely used software, so any difficulties can be solved by posting on various forums to get feedback on any issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This is today's standard for slicing applications, very popular, a lot of tutorials available Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's really slow and might be hard to learn initially Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like the best about Ultimaker Cura is the possibility of installing almost any 3D printer, letting you modify all the printer settings and create different profiles for different uses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I honestly don't find anything I don't like about Ultimaker Cura; maybe suggest that it could be nice if it could include all the models within the brands of 3D printers that are already included because some are missing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that it for multiple printers. I've got several 3D printers & this slicer works nicely for most of them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It was a bit confusing at 1st, the advanced options were, & I needed 1 of my other drafter friends to help me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
