UDA Construction Online is a very robust project managment software that takes the client from the initial contact all the way through the final project payment. The client and team portals are very easy to use and help keep the team informed and invloved throughout the project. From intitial client lead, creating an oppurtunity, estimating the project and generating the proposal to writing project change orders could not be any easier! Training a new PM in the UDA system is very easy with a very short learing curve. We have been using UDA since 2009 and UDA has continued to improve thier software to keep up with new features and our cleint needs. If you are in the construction industry, CO is a powerful software that will help you manage your projects with ease. it has unlimited users, you can create project schedules, estimates, take offs pos, and more. I would like to see some improvement on the App, specially on the Redline feature , where you can makp up the plans Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The customer support has been exceptional. Carli has been incredibly helpful, promptly addressing all of our questions and concerns.

Since we started using UDA CO, our project management has notably improved. The customer portal has played a significant role, and communication with our clients has become much more effective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

UDA has some good things going with how the organize their cost items, groupings, etc. That component works well, as does the methodology of how they create and tabulate selections. I also like how you can include customized overhead / mark up calculations. The "to do" list functionality is pretty nice and allows you to add and track cost impacts. Beyond that, the graphics are ok, but very busy and way to much movement to naviagate efficiently. UDA is an extremely shallow program and by that I mean the following:

• Any successful contractor uses a numerical cost coding system. UDA does not. The word "cost code" does appear in their system, but it is useless as I was led to believe and believe me....I pushed against it hard.

• There is absolutely NO real method to track real, comitted cost because there is no Purchase Order system. Again, the word "purchase order" is visible in the program but dont let it fool you. It is just a .pdf generator that is basically useless once it is created. If you want this to be in Quick Books, you have to do double entry be cause it DOES NOT SYNC as you would reasonably expect.

• IMPORTANT: This programe is mainly driven by Quick Books. This is hugely impactful becuase Quick Books is NOT designed to be a construction managment software. THIS WILL CAUSE YOU AN ACCOUNTING DISASTER of epic proportions.

• Since the software is not driven by cost codes, the "linking" that is an OPTION and not even required, will absolutely wreck your job costing and forecasting.

• The client invoicing is an utter trainwreck. It is slow, it is extremely cumbersome, you cannot invoice for multiple change orders at one time and they have to be sent individually. This is massively irritating to our clients and it takes FOREVER.

• You are extremely limted on reporting. Yes, there ar bunches of "reports" but they are all just .pdf generators and essentially produce useless documents.

• After several months of absolute devotion to this program, our bookkeeper essentially gave us a "them or me" ultimatum

• We ran 6 jobs through it and included a "collaboration software" cost line for each of the jobs. Every single client asked for a refund on that cost and refused to use it after about 1/3 the way through the project.

• While we were using UDA (prior to switching), we loved the idea of their integration with Square Take Off. During our use, it did not integrate as advertised and we kept receiving notifications that "it is a known issue, we are working on it"

• It is atrociously expensive

• Despite our best efforts, there are no online user groups that we could become a part of for peer conversation

• The bid request component is absolutely useless

What is a platform, easy, fast, and very simple to use, additionally allowing you to manage multiple projects within the same platform and include attached files? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The space is limited, which does not allow you to have a large number of files on the platform; that is the only disadvantage I see with this platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Tracking and scheduling of my projects as from the estimations to the time of completion has really been made easier. The client portal has really helped in making communications very powerful between us and our clients. We can send emails and get back comments from our clients. I like this system a lot because through this, I managed to integrate different functions such as sending emails, planning meetings with my team and creating presentations for clients, which facilitates my work and generates well-being among my staff and customer satisfaction.

I am happy, Contruction Online, for its versatility in the platform and it is easier to access important information of the company from any location in order to work and streamline any necessary management, and this creates great progress since as we go for growth we can allow the visualization of the files and share them between departments without the need to use Microsoft Office.

It is also very rewarding to be able to count on the support of your staff as we obtain answers in a timely, effective and efficient way when there is any doubt or problem that may arise with the system.
