What do users say?

Generated using AI from real user reviews
Users consistently praise Typeform for its user-friendly interface and engaging design, which make creating and completing forms a smooth experience. The platform's ability to create visually appealing, conversational forms enhances response rates and simplifies data collection. However, some users note that advanced features and higher response limits are often locked behind premium plans, which can be a limitation for smaller teams.

"User friendly tool for light weight surveys"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Typeform?

Typeform is beautifully designed and user friendly from the perspective of the person taking the survey as well as the person who owns the form. I love the integrations - we have Typeform send us emails with results and ping our Slack channel for some of our more important surveys. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Typeform?

Typeform won't replace something like Qualtrics, if you need advanced logic and question types. That said, Typeform is so easy to adopt and use. We are very happy with it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Grace Porter of Typeform

Hi, thanks so much for taking the time to leave a review, we're so pleased you find Typeform user friendly and that the integration with Slack makes it easy for you to access and share survey results. Great feedback about advanced logic and question types, we'll be sure to share this with our Product team as they continue to make improvements.

"Streamlined Data Collection with Seamless Usability"
5/5
What do you like best about Typeform?

I absolutely love how intuitive Typeform is. It guides you seamlessly, making it easy to use right from the start. The system's setup is beautifully organized; instead of overwhelming users with too much information at once, it presents questions one section at a time, which mirrors how the respondents experience it. This design makes data collection straightforward and ensures a high-level view when necessary. Its frictionless nature allows us to gather employee feedback and client information smoothly without the hassle typically associated with traditional methods. The strong integration with platforms like Zapier is a huge plus; it automates processes, significantly improving workflow efficiency. Typeform’s simplicity stands out, making it an essential tool without needing constant relearning or excessive effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Typeform?

I've used Typeform for over two years as a startup founder, and it remains one of the most dependable tools in our stack. We rely on it for everything from marketing surveys and NPS tracking to product usability studies. Highly recommend for teams that value clean UX and actionable insights. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Beautiful Forms That People Actually Enjoy Using"
5/5
What do you like best about Typeform?

Typeform makes data collection feel personal and polished. I love how easy it is to create professional-looking forms that people actually enjoy filling out. Whether I'm managing event RSVPs, meeting sign-ins, or fundraiser orders, Typeform makes the process seamless for both me and the user. I also like that I can subscribe to their lower plan and be billed "a l cart" for additional form entries in increments of 250 when I exceed the limit in a given month. I do go over some months but not every month and the price for an additional 250 is very reasonable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Typeform?

It's still worth the cost in my opinion, but I do wish there were an option to connect TypeForm to my preferred merchant services provider instead of being forced to use Stripe. I like JotForm's UI and form "feel" better, but TypeForm is much more reasonable pricing for what I need and it also has a perfectly adequate UI. The logic is a bit confusing sometimes but is easy enough to figure out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Grace Porter of Typeform

Hi David, thanks so much for taking the time to leave a review and share your feedback about more merchant integration options and logic. If you'd ever be interested in connecting with our Product team to discuss your feedback, feel free to email vip@typeform.com and I will connect you. Thanks again!

"Using Typeform at a coffee company"
4/5
What do you like best about Typeform?

Typeform offers a smooth, user-friendly experience that feels more like a conversation than a traditional quiz. This format is especially helpful for our coffee quiz, where we’re guiding customers to discover the coffees that best match their preferences. The design is clean and customizable, which allows us to keep the quiz visually aligned with our brand. We’ve also found the logic jumps and branching features to be powerful—helping us tailor the flow of questions based on each user’s answers. It’s intuitive to build and update, which has made iterating on the quiz fast and simple. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Typeform?

While the user experience is great on the front end, the back end can be a bit limiting when it comes to deeper customization. Embedding the quiz on our site occasionally affects page load speed, and we’ve had to workaround some layout constraints to make it feel truly native. Additionally, while the analytics dashboard is functional, it lacks some of the depth we’d like when it comes to understanding user behaviour across the quiz. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Grace Porter of Typeform

Hi Nelson, thanks so much for your feedback. It's great to learn about how you've been using Typeform for a coffee matching quiz. If you'd ever be interested in chatting to our Product team further about improvements we can make to the analytics dashboard, feel free to email vip@typeform.com and I will put you in touch with one of our Product Managers to chat further. Thanks again!

"Effortless Form Building with a Sleek Interface"
5/5
What do you like best about Typeform?

What I liked best about Typeform is its user-friendly, visually appealing interface that makes creating forms feel more like designing a conversation than filling out a survey. The drag-and-drop builder is intuitive, and the wide range of templates helped me get started quickly without having to build everything from scratch. And the conditional logic and customization options are truly the best—allowing for personalized and engaging forms that stand out compared to more traditional tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Typeform?

The main downside of Typeform is the very limited response cap on the free plan—just 10 responses per month—which feels a bit too restrictive. When you're first starting to incorporate forms into your processes, it’s hard to predict how many responses you might get, so having a bit more flexibility, like 20 or 25 responses, would make it easier to gauge whether the tool fits your needs. I'm currently on a paid plan, but I think a slightly more generous free tier would make the transition into using Typeform smoother for new users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Grace Porter of Typeform

Hi Ashley, thanks so much for all your feedback, it's great to hear that you find the interface user-friendly and that Typeform is helping you easily create forms and engage with clients. Great feedback around response numbers on the free plan, I will be passing this onto our Pricing team for review. Thanks again!

It’s a little pricier than some competitors, but the user experience is unmatched. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Survey creator and analyst"
4/5
What do you like best about Typeform?

I like the ability to create a logic tree for question delivery.

I like the ability to group questions together in sections, this makes longer surveys feel shorter. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Typeform?

The user interface could be improved for applying design settings. Some of the options are buried in the brand and theme screens. It would be nice to have more control over where the questions and the answers appear on the screen, the layouts are pretty limited. On the data analysis side, it would be nice to have the ability to check questions that are tests so they are eliminated from the results. Right now I have to create a draft survey to test and once it is approved I have to copy the survey and give people a new link to the live version so I can utilize the reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Elizabeth Babinski of Typeform

We're happy to hear that you're enjoying the features that Typeform offers for creating surveys. Your feedback on the user interface, design settings, and data analysis is valuable to us, and we'll take it into account as we work on improving our platform. Thanks so much for sharing your experience with us!
