They provided our team with a full toolkit of policies and automated controls to make sure we could test our policies, upload evidence if needed, or pull in automated proof from all of our various vendors/SAAS solutions (i.e. AWS, Github, and Google Workplace). The ease of integration to all of our different services is really what made us go with Trustero.

Honestly, there’s nothing I disliked about the tool—it’s been amazing from start to finish. If anything, what I disliked was trying to lead an organization through SOC 2 compliance before we had Trustero. That was tough! With Trustero, the process became so much easier. Except for the auditors, nobody likes SOC2. It's a painful and bureaucratic process. Knowing what is required, and collecting all of the evidence takes time away from my team that should be spent developing new products. This was our first year, our company was prepping for the SOC 2 audit and the Trustero compliance automation platform made the process go very smoothly. The platform was very easy to implement and guided us step by step on what to prepare in terms of policies and documentation for our SOC2 Audit. The platform is very AI driven and the integrations that Trustero uses to gather information from existing tools (GitHub, Slack, Jira) and cloud services like our cloud environment (AWS) really streamlines the process and saves time when having to collect evidence for the audit. Best of all, the tool offers real-time visibility into compliance status, allowing us to quickly address any open gaps that may appear before it impacts audit review with the platform’s seamless team collaboration features. In addition, the Trustero support and account team are very responsive and aids in giving suggestions and tips whenever needed. I highly recommend Trustero! Overall, the Trustero platform is great, however, due to its young age and growing platform, there was a few times we had to make several revisions of what was on the platform versus the template documentation. We experienced a minor bug with the vendor management upload section, but the support team were quick to help resolve the issue. The company makes an effort to improve their system and processes and provide as much documentation in their knowledge base, which is very helpful when troubleshooting. Trustero has helped my organization with SOC 2 compliance, before Trustero, I was overwhelmed with the sheer volume of work that was ahead of me but Trustero's tools and platforms really lighten my workload. From the templated policies, receptors to connect to my other tools like my HR platform, everything is easy to use and navigate to. Super customer friendly. They were the experts and for someone that had no idea in SOC2 process, they made it super easy for my to learn and understand what I needed to in order to become SOC2 compliant. Trustero had a library of policies that essentially saved a us a ton of time in having to draft them from scratch. The automatic receptors to platforms like Git, Google Business also helped identify any non compliance areas and was able to resolve these quickly. The group that we have delt with are the most knowledgeable and supportive group of people I could ask for. They have helped us every step of the way through our SOC2 journey. The application is easy to use and well organized. It had many feature enhancements during our time with it that brought it from great to outstanding. The policy templates were easy to customize to our buisness needs and the evidence descriptions and objectives helped us to know that the information we were uploading was the right thing. Lastly, the integrations the tool uses pulls in information from places like AWS and Azure to help significantly reduce the amount of data you have to go hunting for. Very easy to implement.
