Programming features are better than other platforms, diverse exercise library, easy to copy/continue program to the next week. Also it integrates with MyFitnessPal, which is helpful. Also it is relatively easy for clients to upload videos which is great for giving feedback. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Even though it integrates with MyFitnessPal, you can only view macros, not micros or food log. Not having the full picture can be frustrating. Metrics feature is not helpful at all, but there is no other way to track a clients bodyweight. Exercise library videos are really terrible, form on those videos is that of a very novice lifter. I have to upload my own videos for just about every exercise. Habits/lifestyle coaching features are very new and should have a separate space in the app, they really clam up the client's calendar and make things look overwhelming. TrueCoach is an indispensable tool for my personal training. The user-friendly interface allows for the creation of tailored workout plans and easy demonstration of exercises.
The efficient customer support impresses with prompt responses and regular updates, showcasing a commitment to continuous improvement.
My clients appreciate the clear structure of the plans, progress tracking, and straightforward communication through the platform.
Overall, a strong recommendation: TrueCoach optimizes my work as a personal trainer and significantly contributes to my clients' satisfaction. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have already informed the support, and they have responded excellently. I would appreciate it if customers could reschedule their training days themselves. It often happens that they are unable to complete a workout as scheduled but make it up on the next or following day. A kind of group chat or group features, and the ability to send specific messages to all my clients, would be fantastic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

TrueCoach is a breeze to use in terms of efficiency of entering programs for clients. Having the ability to use almost exclusively the keyboard without having to touch the mouse means I can enter programming rather quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
They haven't been the most responsive to feature requests. In particular, I have been requesting an API just for simple integrations with Zapier. I've automated the entirety of my client on-boarding and off-boarding processes, with the sole exception of TrueCoach. It's an annoying manual process.
My clients don't like that it is so difficult to review exercise history, in particular progress graphs and PRs.
They continue to add unrequested features to clutter up the UI and break functionality on mobile browsers. They spam you with banners for stuff you don't care about, and there is no way to opt out of it. They also clutter the screen with Intercom chat bubbles. It's quite tedious. True Coach has helped me stay organized systemized and helps me strategize my clients programs so I can stay accountable to them and help my clients stay accountable to me and themselves as well. This is huge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I prefer to do things in person, but for the athletes that enjoy the online training this makes it easier. I dislike getting on the computer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love how you can create your own workouts for each individual client, including creating your own exercises (with videos) if they are not in the exercise library.
I like the extensive exercise library they have, making creating the workouts a lot easier to create.
the customer service is great as well and has helped me when I have had a few queries about a few things.
I also like how they are always looking to add new features along the way.
Overall Truecaoch is very easy to use, and very good for connecting to other apps such as My Fitness Pall as well to help with nutrition. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing I am I do not like is the lack of freedom of allowing the client to create their own workout.
Sometimes I will tell a client they have a freedom week where they can do whatever they choose (within reason) but I have to create a 'workout' to let them tell me what they did and they cannot create their own. I feel this is something that could be added especially if teaching the client to have their own autonomy with their workouts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This app is intuitive for me and for my clients. I can easily build workouts and programmes for the squads that I write for. They can see what they need to do and upload their results. Their results are documented and easily tracked. Whenever I have a problem the customer service is helpful and quick. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The price, obviously. Also, I've been using TrueCoach since it was FitBot - so a long time and there seems to be customer loyalty benefits. I'd like a payment processor to be added soon so am looking forward to that update. Sometimes the exercise library doesn't have a movement I want in it (or its named something unfamiliar to me). But it's easy to link your own videos in there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

- Easy to input data for both coach and client (i like that it's a text box you fill in rather than entering a value in each text box for weight/reps/set
- Can copy and paste workouts from one week to next.
- Customer support has been good when I've needed it.
- Like that you can connect MFP with Truecoach. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- Not a great function to track volume over time
- Client can't change the exercise if they replaced it with someone else (due to lack of equipment available or if they swapped exercises around across the week)
- No coaching app
- A bit of a faff to change videos for each exercise if you don't like the existing video assigned to it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There is so much you can do with building out programs, check-ins, measuring progress, and tracking habits! I find the tags and labels helpful when groupong programs, and clients. My clients enjoy having MyFitness Pal connected to streamline nutrition goals, and I can easily adjust their goals as needed! There is way more I can speak on, but these are the top feature that has helped me level up my services! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Only thing I wish was easier is to move workouts in sections, e.i. a whole week or month. Other than that, it's great! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Users can submit videos and it has a simple interface, also you can save workout templates and asign them to clients. I also like the metrics tracker. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's not super user friendly for the athelets, spetially now that I'm training older people, they don't get how to mark workouts as done or how to add notes or weight, awesome for the younger population and those who speak english.
I would like there was a way to link demo videos from ypoutube for example. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ability to customize your clients workouts with your own videos, and the multiple features you get in your plan.
It's very easy to implement and to use for your clients, and the customer support is always available to hear your suggestions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The organization of tempo, reps, resting times could be improvized in a way they look more organized, and the superset division could be more delimited between one another, so the client can recognize the different supersets with more ease. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
