What do you like best about Trivia?

Trivia has been a great app to connect our teams together. We automate weekly water coolers that allow our entire organization to get to know each other more with the great questions that it spits out. We also automate weekly games in a game channel for our employees to take a quick break. I LOVE the custom quizzes that we are allowed to make (available on the Pro plan). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Trivia?

We were sold on the idea of the Celebrations that Trivia offered. It was not what we were expecting as an admin cannot take control of it. However, they are working on making it better with customizations that would work for us, so I’m excited for that to get released. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Trivia solving and how is that benefiting you?

Employee engagement and team building via getting to know team mates who we normally wouldn't interact with. Events are concise and don't take up much time, allowing meaningful connections that don't hinder productivity or inturrupt. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Trivia?

Our company started using Trivia not too long ago and so far, I think it’s a hit. Oftentimes after the games are done, a lot of employees are asking for another game to play. I know a lot of employees have been able to connect on random topics that come up in either the water cooler questions or in the games. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Trivia?

There’s been a lot of times when playing the Emoji game that the emoji combination is just so easy. Another thing, maybe the admins can see this but when a game is done, it only shows the top three on the podium. I would like for there to be a drop down to see where everyone who played was placed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Trivia solving and how is that benefiting you?

As I said in the thing that I like about this tool is that helps a lot to connect all Employees in these games.

Of coruse, this benefits us since we get to share more moments and to know each other Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Trivia?

Overall, I’m glad I decided to go with Trivia. It’s easy enough that I can set it and forget it because of the automation. The Trivia support is also very helpful. My IT manager and I can talk to them through Slack and we usually get a fast response time (there’s a time difference but that’s fine with us). We haven’t tried all Virtual Coffee yet, but that’s in our end of the year plans to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Trivia?

Dislike - It lacks customization I had wanted, like in the celebrations and water cooler questions. I would also like to see the ability to automate certain games, not just “surprise me”. We also had an issue that only quizzes were being selected when the “surprise me” was selected, but like I mentioned above, I reached out to Trivia support and they were able to fix it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Trivia solving and how is that benefiting you?

They are working on their "celebrations" part of the app. What they have told us they are fixing and adding are extactly what we want to see and use. I'll be excited when it's complete and we can customize the celebrations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Trivia?

Trivia has really changed the way we can have fun with people we don’t usually work with. Our company is 100% remote, so we can’t have that face-to-face banter. The water cooler questions that are asked every Friday are a great remote replacement for that banter. I also like the Know Your Team quiz because you get to learn more about others. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Trivia?

We have a designated channel for the Trivia games and the notifications can get to be too much. If I’m having a busy day and I don’t have time to participate, I usually have to mute the channel because it can be distracting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Trivia solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our teams can connect in ways that they might not have been able to without trivia. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Trivia?

I enjoy the ease of use, and how it brings employees together with little demand on their time. There is something for everyone. It has started some fun conversations in our slack channel, brought together people from departments that don't usually interact with one another, and brought out a wholesome, competitive streak among employees. The games are short, so perfect for small breathers without inturrupting the workday. It is also highly adaptable, letting us create our own games that have meaning to our company. It is easy to use with little learning curve. All around recommended! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Trivia?

I think as the app matures it will have more functionality, but it would be nice if it included a little more customization when announcing things like work anniversaries. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Trivia solving and how is that benefiting you?

It lets employees engage with eachother more in our fully remote environment, paticularly those who work in different departments that would not typically interact with eachother. It has encouraged more conversations between those who share common interests, and even brought out competitive streaks in each other (in a positive way)! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Trivia?

We have Trivia games scheduled to launch at different times throughout the day on MWF. We created a specific "Arcade" slack channel that notifies everyone that a game is starting. Anyone who is available and wants to join can hop in and play! It's fun to give employees across the company the opportunity to compete against each other. The games vary every time which keeps things interesting. I love that the games are automated so HR can set and forget and keeps the engagement up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Trivia?

There are a lot of games that Trivia bot provides, and some are definitely better than others. Occasionally there will be an incorrect answer that is marked as correct in the game and this annoys some people. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Trivia solving and how is that benefiting you?

We wanted something fun to offer our employees that was low cost and didn't require a lot of effort from the HR team and this fits the needs. It's wonderful to have the games automated so that HR doesn't have to remember to launch them to keep the employees engaged. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Trivia?

Trivia's customer communication is very poor. They change pricing structures with very little notice. It is not a service to be relied upon. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Trivia solving and how is that benefiting you?

We went remote in the pandemic, and it was hard to keep morale up. Trivia solves that with ease, and gives people a chance to connect and let their hair down, if only for 15-30 minutes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Trivia?

Trivia is so much fun! Being a remote organization, we miss the casual coffee breaks, talking about what's new with one another - or just popping over to a colleagues office to chat quickly. With Trivia, we can play games, try to outscore each other, learn new facts about one another and have so much fun doing it! It’s way better than me trying to rack my brain to find new games, ice breakers or creating PowerPoint presentations for engagement. Trivia is even automated - so you can pre-schedule the fun, sit back, and watch everyone engage with each other! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Trivia?

None that I can think of. We are enjoying every aspect of it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Trivia solving and how is that benefiting you?

Trivia is solving our problem of not knowing eachother outside of our fundraising and spreadsheets. Learning facts about eachother and uncovering those personalities outside of the day to day has been invalueable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Trivia?

Trivia helped me build a community of trivia lovers, who look forward to our trivia time every day. The questions are fun, there are a ton of options to choose from and it is simple. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Trivia?

The persistent notifications and threads can be a bit annoying at times, especially as we have to scroll all the way to see it. The answers can be compressed into a single text rather an a single thread each time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Trivia solving and how is that benefiting you?

Trivia helps the teams be engaged and initiates a conversation, it also brings together an active community. Especially with the scheduled timings and topic, and the integration with Slack. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Trivia?

Trivia has been a great catalyst at work increasing our engagement rates skyward by over 60%. The best part is that we don't actually have to take breaks to stay engaged; Trivia has a lot of fun games and water coolers to help you feel at ease while working. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Trivia?

It would be great if additional team games get added. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Trivia solving and how is that benefiting you?

It's a struggle to get people together as an engagement advocate and that's exactly what Trivia solves for. All you need is a laptop and an internet connection, an eager audience will already be waiting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Trivia?

I tried Trivia (until free version got locked) and found it as a platform to bring diversity in teaching and learning. Its a good way to engage students in classes (online-offline) and keep them free from classwork pressure for a while.

Quiz and games (anyway, got locked before using in large platform). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
