What do you like best about Tricentis qTest?

Qtest provides all features which a basic test management tool should provide

Easy Interface to write and manage test cases

Easy Integration with JIRA and automation tools Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tricentis qTest?

You might experience some lag since the solution is cloud-based. It is dependent on the load your internet connection handles. But other than this issue I feel that this tool is a great asset for a QA team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Tricentis qTest?

The ability to integrate with Jira for tracking purposes. We use Jira to create stories and sub-tasks and we link them directly to the associated test cases in qTest so it is easy to find related requirements for all our work in qTest. We run all our test case creation and test plans through qTest across all our teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tricentis qTest?

No testing specific functionality and lack of some reporting ability. Also, with a read only account, you can't leave comments in qTest which doesn't make much sense. I can see a read only account not having ability to edit or delete, but leaving a comment doesn't affect anything and is a really useful part of the tool for test case review. Response from Ryan Yackel of Tricentis qTest

Hello -

Thank you so much for taking the time to review qTest. We are glad that you and your team are having a great experience with qTest.

I've passed the request to leave comments with a read-only license to our development team. As we are changing the UI across all modules, this might be an improvement we can make.

As a courtesy, I've linked to some new UI changes we recently did for the TestPad.

Please keep submitting your feature requests and feedback to support.qasymphony.com.

Since we are releasing new product updates every month, we would like to incorporate all of our customer feedback in our roadmap where possible.

All the best!

What do you dislike about Tricentis qTest?

Some times have issues with uploading test cases from a excel work sheet. But if you are doing it on regular basis.. it is not much of difficult though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Tricentis qTest?

Its interface is quite simple, straightforward and powerful, which allows me to carry out in a fairly safe and complete way a wide variety of tests to determine the effectiveness of the system to be evaluated, its large number of integrations with other applications also turns out to be quite a lot. useful for testing different aspects of the system, the accuracy of its reports is also quite good and allows me to have a more general knowledge about the existing faults and the progress made in order to improve the system, the customer service team is quite efficient at the time of solving any type of problem or inconvenience that may arise during the use of the application. What do you dislike about Tricentis qTest?

While using this application I did not get any good reason to complain about this tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
