the app in phones and iPad loses so many options like in the computer system you have access.
On the phone, I can't have access to the transaction history for the tools.
on computer system, when I do purchase orders, when I finished the order I don't save the order because then I can't modify anything like prices and need to keep it as a draft order.

SO many things!!! For starters, they make this software anti user-friendly unless you are willing to pay an astronomical price!! Secondly the software barely functions half the time, leading to excessive down time, delayed projects, missing tools, inacurate counts due to not being able to enter them in real time because the software has different bugs and glitches. They dont even attempt to make changes to make things more user friendly. Unless you have the highest teir and pay them, you will have alot of troubles navigating their software, limited reports and such. My biggest issue, when and if you make a mistake on a transfer, you cant edit it, you cant delete it. You have to go in and manually adjust your inventory for each individual item and then make an entire new transfer. So now, your reports will look off, and you wasted 4 hours doing something that this company could EASILY change, by making admins able to edit things. Ive mentioned this issue to them multiple times but nothing has changed and they think that method they provided me is easy. I can not WAIT to find a different WMS to assist us. I like that it does provide some sort of communication line between the office staff (project managers & estimators) and the warehouse staff. I like that all of the tools, equipment and materials are customizable in terms of name, price, etc. Took a while to build out but it's nice to have our own data in there. I hate that it takes 4+ hours to sync with our ERP system, Sage300 and that integration is abysmal. In the demo we received, we were told this integration was flawless and would be improved upon. I do not like that in the 2+ years we have had ToolWatch, they have done no improvements (to my knowledge) on the desktop app which is what we primarily use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Access from any location or PC is great. The platform is easy to use and offers many layers of tracking for materials and equipment. Basic set up is easy and straightforward in order to get your inventory tracking up and running. I look forward to growing within the program to the many built in modules like purchasing and billing. I recommend the online training resource for anyone using the program on a regular basis. The syncing to the cloud is a bit inconsistent. There have been times that inventory transactions have been processed but don't show up on reporting until manually syncing with the cloud data source. I would consider this a manageable challenge and if you are working with your inventory regularly you will notice any issues right away and they are easily fixed by the manual syncing feature.
