I like how easy it is to track my time, set up projects and clients, and specifically track within each of those confines. This makes tracking time for my business and my clients much, much easier! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing I dislike really is not being able to add details for clients. Also, I do with that there was a better way to be notified if you aren't tracking your time at the moment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The thing I like the most is the ability to create reports filtered by team, by client, by period, etc.: this allows me, during a project for example, to understand if we are spending too much time compared to the estimates agreed with the client or it is very useful for making new estimates for new projects. Toggl Track is the perfect tool to help you be more productive and achieve your goals. It allows you to monitor how much time has been spent on a particular task, so there are no surprises in terms of deadlines, resources or efficiency. This makes it easier for you to quickly identify areas for improvement. In addition, its intuitive interface means faster data entry, making it an unbeatable choice for tracking tasks regularly over long periods of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike the current design of Toggl Track because there is too much dead space and it limits users to viewing a small number of lines/projects at a time. I think it would be beneficial to provide options for more dynamic configurations, such as viewing multiple projects at once. In addition, using brighter font colours with higher contrast would create an easier to read interface that older people would appreciate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really like how versatile and easy to use Toggl Track is. Even those who have never used time tracking software before can get up and running quickly thanks to the intuitive dashboard setup, powerful reporting capabilities, productivity insights it provides, and the ability to export data in various formats for further review or storage elsewhere. It's a great tool that adds tremendous value in both understanding our project performance and being able to communicate the progress/completion of projects when asked by clients or other stakeholders. I find the tediousness of tracking time with Toggl Track to be a major drawback. It would be helpful if it was easier to record forgotten times and collaborate on projects with other users. Assigning deadlines for completing or archiving various tasks associated with multiple clients and projects could make my workflow more organised and efficient. I like the time tracking reminders in Toggl Track; they help me estimate billable hours accurately and efficiently, while also minimising unbilled hours. The mobile app makes it easy to track my time from anywhere, which is perfect when I'm running errands or attending meetings outside of the office. In addition, regular updates ensure that any bugs are caught quickly and customer support responds within a day - these features make using Toggl Track a breeze. I find the navigation of Toggl Track confusing due to the use of multiple colours to classify clients and initiatives. This can make it difficult to distinguish between different projects, so I think it would be helpful if there was a clearer form of labelling, such as colour-coded bubbles or other visual indicators to quickly identify specific entries. I love how easy and straightforward Toggl Track is. All I have to do is enter the project name to start tracking and click stop when I'm done - no complicated setup or unnecessary bells & whistles! I can keep track of my projects quickly and easily with its minimalist design. It's free and packed with tons of features, so you've got nothing to lose! Although I have yet to use the dashboard, it also provides at-a-glance access to additional information. Ultimately, Toggl Track is a great time tracking app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Even though Toggl Track is useful for tracking time spent on specific tasks, it can be difficult to manage when dealing with quick and short-term activities. This tool requires that I use it in a very precise manner - more so than when I use it over an extended period. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Aggregates the amount of time for specific tasks and breaks them down. Is simple to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Can be easily cluttered. Tracking takes away from actual work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My favorite thing about Toggl Track is the app. It's got a great UI - simple to use and very clean look. I don't personally have to track my time at work, but I like to track it based on the projects I'm working on so I have data to back decisions that are made in my business. When I tried to start implementing Toggl Track with my organization, I quickly realized that it only allows up to 5 users on the free plan. Beyond that, I believe you have to pay per user. If you're looking for a solution that scales for free, I recommend Clockify. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Toggl Track's simplicity and flexibility were what won me over. There are many similar products on the market with a gazillion features. All I needed to do was track the time I spend with each client or client project, detect the window titles to remind me or automatically track time, and be unintrusive. The free plan allows an unlimited client/project hierarchy, and I can even export the results into my CRM (Perfex CRM) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would like the income to be tracked on the free plan too, but I do accept that they are running a business and need to hold some features back for freeloaders like myself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
