Modern implementation with seamless solutions to common problems. The kind and helpful support, sales, and technical staff make it easy to transition to the platform from the old time slips database. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only issues I've come across so far are the lack of reports. That's the main distinction between this and timeslips. We used to use billing worksheet summarys and haven't found a close equivilent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My firm uses TimeSolv ("TS") for time entry and billing. It does an excellent job at these core functions and has the advantage of being easy to use for time entry making it more likely that each professional will enter time on a regular basis. There are many options in the settings for each function which take time to master but give the user a great deal of flexibility to customize. I'm the managing partner, so I also do the billing. TS billing is also very functional, again with a great deal of flexibiltiy built in. I particularly like the fact that when reviewing draft invoices the user can not only edit existing entries, but can add additional entries without quitting out of the invoice review function, switching to time entry, and then switching back. This saves a great deal of time at month end when preparig invoices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't see any "downside" to using TS, but there are a few items on my wishlist:
1. The remote time entry app only allows entry and syncing; there is no way to review entries once sync'd, nor do you have access to pre-existing entries. The result is that if you add time remotely that must be merged with existing entries, you must copy the new entry into the existing entry then delete the entry you added in the remote time entry app.
2. Until very recently, the system was highly responsive. More recently, TS is very slow to respond to inputs, with significant slow-down especially at end of month invoicing (the last couple of days of a month and the first couple of days of the following month. I undestand TS is working on more server capacity.
3. As a new user a few years ago I found the Help function enormously useful in helping me understand how to adapt TS to my preferences, due to the many variable settings, and rarely waited more than a couple of minutes for a response from a live person through the built-in help function. More recenty the wait has been very long to the point that I did not get a respons from a person before the end of the work day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Our Legal Law firm has been using TimeSolv for 2 years now and it has significantly improved our productivity and time management. The transfer from our pervious billing system to Timesolv was exactly what we needed and was so organized especiallu with our everyday use. This user interface is intuitive and easy to navigate, making it simple to track billable hours. Additionally, Timesolv’s customer support is responsive and helpful. there are times when timesolv does kick us out, but overall a wonderful program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
TimeSolv is a much easier and user friendly tool for timekeeping, reports etc. than the previous software used. Once set up, timekeeping is a breeze. Invoices can be created to suit your needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some of the reports are not customizable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Entry of time is easy. Review and sending of billing is easy and efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The statements that are part of the bills are confusing. Too much info, too many time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
TimeSolv is user friendly, web based (so no need to always back up data), and has great customer service, They are always improving their product too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Two minor issues I have with TimeSolv: (1) When entering time, my hands have to leave the keyboard to enter the date, which is entered on a calendar to the left of the screen; and (2) there is no quick (hot key) way to repeat the name of the client entered in the previous entry. These two issues slow me down a bit when entering time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The most helpful thing about TimeSolv is the excellent customer service. They also center the software around the customer, so you can customize the software platform to fit your specific billing needs. TimeSolv also constantly improves their software by making changes based on customer feedback. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some of the basic features are static and cannot be changed for instance, how many characters can be written into a note and how the date is presented in year, month, day instead of month, day, year Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Easy for attorney and I to both make entries to minimize lost time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The developers are very rigid about report and invoice formats, which are less clear than I would expect from a company working with several lawfirms. I have complained to them several times about inability to control certain aspects of invoices (such as making the Trust ledger/balance separate from the amount due) and payments, discounts, their response, even after a web session to show them the problems has been that I need to spend time educating the clients about how to read the invoice. Not "we'll work on that" just "it's your problem." Very disappointing. Yet, I get constant notices from them about new features unrelated to the Timekeeping and Billing service, which I believed to be their core product. They are too intrested in grabbing new market share to properly and satisfactorily service the needs of their clients - law firms like us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is very user-friendly. It helps us keep track of the billing hours and the type of work we do for each client. It allows us to do reports based on every kind of work, which lets us determine which areas we receive our primary income from. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have not found any dislikes yet. We only use Timesolv for tracking billable and nonbillable hours. We also use it to create invoices and to track cash receipts. We have no complaints regarding those features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love how user-friendly Timesolv is. It is intuitive, easy to use, visually appealing, and does exactly what I need on day to day basis. I really enjoy the search function as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only issue that I have had with TimeSolv has been when I zoom in or out of the screen. If I zoom too far out, I have found myself to be unable to add time entries on the weekend days. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
