I found the lack of ability for Timely to keep track of the apps I use on my phone, as well as the time spent on phone calls and individual text messages, to be quite disappointing. It would have been incredibly helpful to have a comprehensive overview of how I spend my time on my phone, including which apps I use the most and how much time I spend on calls and texts. This feature would have provided valuable insights into my phone usage habits and allowed me to make more informed decisions about how to manage my time more effectively. Timely is very easy-to-use and especially quick qith tracking and categorizing activities. It's taking up very little of the team's time and gives us a chance to get reports very easily on how everybody is spending there time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ability to integrate Timely with a suite of MS applications makes this an ideal tool for tracking time and tasks in a quick and simplified manner. I also appreciate the Report functions. Once configured and with a bit of working history the system assesses, organizes, preloads tasks to specific project categories which speeds up time reporting. It was simple to set up, which was very helpful as I am not tech-savvy. This is the first time tracking software I have used. I researched several and ran some free trials! Timely worked best for my needs!

Nothing specific, but I sometimes forget to allocate the hours if I have to select something. This is on me, though, as I have not systematised enough of my scheduling and labelling.

I’m using Timely in a small research and insights firm wher I'm using Timely each work day.Timely has been a fantastic tool for helping to track time across the projects I’m working on. Installation and setup was easy. The automated tracking of app usage, ‘drag and drop’ assignment of time in apps to projects, and the way Timely learns to categorise your work are great. Using Timely has given me a much better understanding of where my time is being spent on projects, between projects and just how much time goes on different types of overheads and admin. There is a lot more capability in the tool than I’m currently using, but the automated time tracking by itself has been worth it so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I’ve not found any major limitations given my fairly simple usage scenarios. Since it doesn’t capture idle computer time where you might be taking offline notes, reading printed materials etc, you still need to remember to add this time in (or make allowance for I when using Timely as the basis for quotes). Perhaps better prompting for this kind of missed time would improve the app, but overall I’ve found it a really useful tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
