I've been using Timely for about 8 years now. I absolutley love its function. I use it on a daily basis. It integrates with all my tools. I do contract work and am constantly multi-tasking and switching between projects. It tough for me to fully track the exact hours that are needed. With Timely the time tracking is quick and clean. I love it too that I can go backwards in time and review all my past time entries for better invoicing to the client. It such a time saver ;) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The memory app works wonders. Auto-track everything you do on your computer and you can easily add the work in timetables at the end of the day, tag client work, and make notes about the work you just did.

Not much to dislike - unless you want a complex solution to solve a simple issue (as I have seen on D365 or Salesforce). Timely is continuously improving and many suggestions have been made available. Personally I do not have errors with the Memory app and I think the 'AI' does its best to guess - with as few data as possible (GDPR) where to place my drafts. Timely is very easy to use and has a very clear and fun, modern interface. Timely offers everything you need for time registration: you can register time second by second with a few clicks and per file, you can register in files together with colleagues, you can print handy monthly overviews where you can indicatie yourself what is visible and what is not, you can insert as much text as you deem necessary or use tags, you can make changes easily and replace files, ... I can't see any disadvantages with Timely and I recommend it to my colleagues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It provides management with clear data about software and website usage. It was installed easily to my device and able to be used daily with minimal disruptions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
For some websites or programs, it chunks your usage into one big block. My specific gripe is with Salesforce. I am usually working multiple cases or accounts, and it struggles to chop them up into their own block. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
To begin with, it simply works. Zero learning curve, just install and it tracks in the background. Saves me huge mental effort and time of trying to track back what I've done across multiple projects to enter manually into previous apps I used. I can go back weeks later and see exactly what files I was working on and assign to projects easily. Although because it's so easy, I do it quickly rather than putting it off! It's also earned me way more than it's cost – because I can accurately bill rather than underplaying the time I've spent on a project. It also shows me how productive I've been or, just as often, how unproductive! I've never really bothered with productivity apps because the learning curve has been too much effort versus the potential gain – but this is one of the very few I've adopted, effortlessly, and so become a bit of an evangelist for. Timely's support have also been awesome whenever I've emailed queries about how something works – they'll proactively keen coming back to me with further info and updates. Only downsides are a couple of tiny feature gaps due to technical challenges of tracking different apps – most notably registering you're still on a meeting when you're sharing screen (in which instance it just tracks the application you're showing) – although they're recently released a Teams integration in response to this. Timely has helped me recover billable time that I otherwise would have missed when logging manually. It has also helped me get time in quickly and daily, rather than trying to figure out what happened days later. Sometimes the AI mis-categorizes time to the wrong project, so you can't escape reviewing it all, but that's more than offset by the time savings from not having to log your time manually. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
