"Extremely user-friendly analytics platform"
What do you like best about ThoughtSpot?

In my opinion, the most fundamental aspect is the ease of use of the platform. Unlike many other platforms, this one allows those who are less data-oriented to be able to quickly create and customize dashboards (or ‘liveboards’, as they are referred to in ThoughtSpot), enabling the usage of the platform more frequently. In this way, we are able to target a wider market and make it more convenient to sell our product by using ThoughtSpot instead of other platforms.

Further, we also want to thank ThoughtSpot for their assistance. Many people we communicate with are active and engaged on our questions, which allows focusing on specific persons in order to receive assistance.

On top of that, we could integrate ThoughtSpot into our platform without any problems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ThoughtSpot?

There is only one thing that I do not like much about ThoughtSpot. It is that things that clearly are software bugs take too long to get resolved. We feel that bugs should be given top priority and at times wonder whether that is really the case at ThoughtSpot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The simplest, and easiest BI tool that I have ever used."
What do you like best about ThoughtSpot?

I have used a lot of business intelligence tools over my career, and ThoughtSpot by far is the easiest to use and get real answers from our data quicker than other platforms. Plus, the support team has been great when answering my questins. It was easy to implement and roll out to our team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ThoughtSpot?

My only complaint is the inability for a month vs month comparison to dynamically change based on the selected date, Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Love how I can share insights with my team"
What do you like best about ThoughtSpot?

Sharing insights is quick and easy. Instead of sending static reports or endless emails, I can share a live link, and everyone sees the latest data. No need to refresh or ask for updates.

Collaboration is smooth too. Team members can apply their own filters or adjust views in real time which makes discussions more productive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ThoughtSpot?

Setting permissions for external users takes a little extra effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Greatest flexibility in reporting we've ever had"
What do you like best about ThoughtSpot?

The flexibility to drill down into any report without having to have built out the template/infrastructure of the report beforehand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ThoughtSpot?

No major downsides, implementation was fast. I guess the learning curve is quick but it gets a bit steeper if you want to learn every single feature offered. But at least the base features I use the most, those are self explanatory. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"ThoughtSpot as embedded product"
What do you like best about ThoughtSpot?

The UI is very sleek and modern. There is some great funtionality and the data visualizations can empower the user to discover more and find the answers to their own questions. The technology behind it is constantly being worked on and new releases are coming out consistently. Implementation was fairly straighforward, there are some nuances. Overall it was pretty easy to integrate with our main product. My Account Executive has been amazing to work with and goes the extra mile to answer any questions or help find a solution to any challenge we are having. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ThoughtSpot?

The functionality and interactivity inside each data tile is not as intuitive as expected. There are some limitations with their existing UI that can be challenging and unable to be modified. This can be a challenge when embedding the product that ideally needs to look/ feel like our product. There are some technical constraints with data sets. If you are using any sort of data integration outside of a data warehouse, be sure to work closely with the ThoughtSpot engineers to ensure compatibilty. Overall a great product with some room to improve on their embedded experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
