It is not very easy to use and is a mix of coding languages that doesn't have clear guidance on the configuartion. Also, the answers are very much plug and play and if you do not have all the attributes correctly selected in the back end, or want to try different chart options it is not very user friendly. On the demo end we used to be able to get help directly from TS employees but they took that away so now its even more difficult to get answers and solutions. Not to mention the recent update stopped wrapping my text and now it just stops at one line and has "..." and from a reporting standpoint, this is not good. ThoughtSpot is the most user-friendly BI platform I've used. As with all BI platforms there's some setup and architecture considerations to consider and roll out, but once in place it's intuitive and far easier to navigate than competitors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
ThoughtSpot is paving the way forward in business intelligence, with a focus on search and natural language integration that allows you to dive deeply into your data without always having to rely on a data scientist to write queries every step of the way. Getting your instance set up requires some lift in terms of structuring your data set, but once in place it allows decision-makers (aka non-data scientists) to interact with and drill deeply into datasets to find insights. In my opinion, the most fundamental aspect is the ease of use of the platform. Unlike many other platforms, this one allows those who are less data-oriented to be able to quickly create and customize dashboards (or ‘liveboards’, as they are referred to in ThoughtSpot), enabling the usage of the platform more frequently. In this way, we are able to target a wider market and make it more convenient to sell our product by using ThoughtSpot instead of other platforms.
Further, we also want to thank ThoughtSpot for their assistance. Many people we communicate with are active and engaged on our questions, which allows focusing on specific persons in order to receive assistance.

There is only one thing that I do not like much about ThoughtSpot. It is that things that clearly are software bugs take too long to get resolved. We feel that bugs should be given top priority and at times wonder whether that is really the case at ThoughtSpot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have used a lot of business intelligence tools over my career, and ThoughtSpot by far is the easiest to use and get real answers from our data quicker than other platforms. The UI is very sleek and modern. There is some great funtionality and the data visualizations can empower the user to discover more and find the answers to their own questions. The technology behind it is constantly being worked on and new releases are coming out consistently. Implementation was fairly straighforward, there are some nuances. Overall it was pretty easy to integrate with our main product. The functionality and interactivity inside each data tile is not as intuitive as expected. There are some limitations with their existing UI that can be challenging and unable to be modified. This can be a challenge when embedding the product that ideally needs to look/ feel like our product. There are some technical constraints with data sets. If you are using any sort of data integration outside of a data warehouse, be sure to work closely with the ThoughtSpot engineers to ensure compatibilty.
