My favorite part of ThoughtSpot is that it updates at set intervals to ensure we always have the most recent data (our companies threshold is every 4 hours) available and ready to analyze at the drop of a dime. I love that I can work with our IT Department as needed to make updates and change specific categories based on how I need to analyze and present the data, but my absolute favorite part is the intuitive and straightforward dashboard that ThoughtSpot has put together. At first it seemed a little overwhelming, but once I received a brief training on how to create, modify, and run reports it became clear just how powerful this software is. I appreciate that I can create my own pin-boards that contain my custom made reports that I run on a scheduled basis and it also allows me to share any of my previously made reports, or entire pin-board for that matter. With the click of a button I can provide access to my peers so they can review and utilize my report as needed. I can't say it enough, but their reporting system is absolutely amazing; if you can think of a way to organize your data, then you can do it. I appreciate the default data visualizations they provide you in your home dashboard after initially logging in and the best part is they are fully customizable. My favorite aspect however is how easy it is to export reports into CSV/Excel files so that you can take the reports a step further and complete additional analysis and manipulation as needed. I love ThoughtSpot Analytics, but I will admit that the initial learning curve can be somewhat overwhelming until you take the time to sit down and learn how to properly use it, but the interface is extremely user-friendly so it is important to take your time. The only downfall that I dislike is that you need a strong IT Department that understands how to code to properly setup and assign data points (especially if they are being mined from another program) to ensure they properly routed/identified in the reporting dashboard so you can manipulate the data accurately. I like the way our team gets the data we need without a data expert. ThoughtSpot’s search function makes it easy to just type in a question and get answers right away. No complex querys and no waiting. It saves us so much time.
Another thing I like is how easily it connects to different data sources. We set it up with our existing systems without any problems, and it updates in real time. So we always have the latest data.
The built-in AI is also a big plus. It helps find insights we might not have thought to look for

Some advanced analytics need extra setup, and it takes a bit to learn all the features. But once you get used to it, its really powerful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We wanted to add analytics to our app without making it difficult. ThoughtSpot’s embedding feature made that easy. Now, our users can search their data directly inside our product, just like they would in Google.
The setup was faster than we expected and we didn’t need our dev team to get it working. It connects well with our existing data sources and updates in real time, so users always see fresh insights.
Another thing I like is how ThoughtSpot’s AI suggests questions and insights. It helps our users find trends they might not have thought to look for.
Their support team has also been really helpful whenever we needed guidance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

ThoughtSpot's AI-driven highlights are a game-changer, providing valuable insights with minimal effort. The platform's user-friendly interface makes it incredibly easy to create detailed dashboards, even for those without a technical background. The real-time insights ensure that our team is always working with the most up-to-date information, which significantly enhances our decision-making process The account team has equally been exceptional in being part of the team and helping find solutions for us and our clients. Honestly, there's nothing to dislike about ThoughtSpot. It has consistently met and exceeded our expectations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
ThoughtSpot is the most user-friendly BI platform I've used. As with all BI platforms there's some setup and architecture considerations to consider and roll out, but once in place it's intuitive and far easier to navigate than competitors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
ThoughtSpot is paving the way forward in business intelligence, with a focus on search and natural language integration that allows you to dive deeply into your data without always having to rely on a data scientist to write queries every step of the way. Getting your instance set up requires some lift in terms of structuring your data set, but once in place it allows decision-makers (aka non-data scientists) to interact with and drill deeply into datasets to find insights. In my opinion, the most fundamental aspect is the ease of use of the platform. Unlike many other platforms, this one allows those who are less data-oriented to be able to quickly create and customize dashboards (or ‘liveboards’, as they are referred to in ThoughtSpot), enabling the usage of the platform more frequently. In this way, we are able to target a wider market and make it more convenient to sell our product by using ThoughtSpot instead of other platforms.
Further, we also want to thank ThoughtSpot for their assistance. Many people we communicate with are active and engaged on our questions, which allows focusing on specific persons in order to receive assistance.
On top of that, we could integrate ThoughtSpot into our platform without any problems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is only one thing that I do not like much about ThoughtSpot. It is that things that clearly are software bugs take too long to get resolved. We feel that bugs should be given top priority and at times wonder whether that is really the case at ThoughtSpot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have used a lot of business intelligence tools over my career, and ThoughtSpot by far is the easiest to use and get real answers from our data quicker than other platforms. Plus, the support team has been great when answering my questins. It was easy to implement and roll out to our team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The flexibility to drill down into any report without having to have built out the template/infrastructure of the report beforehand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
No major downsides, implementation was fast. I guess the learning curve is quick but it gets a bit steeper if you want to learn every single feature offered. But at least the base features I use the most, those are self explanatory. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
