What first attracted us to Thinkific was their course player - out of the box, it delivered the student experience we were hoping to deliver. I soon discovered that the admin experience is just as enjoyable - courses come together easily, the web builder is a good balance of ease and customizability. Basically, all the needed functionality has been thoughtfully designed into the LMS; user experience can make or break a system for me, and this is where Thinkific shines. Also, they've done a great job thoroughly documenting the feature set, so looking for answers is pretty much always productive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I sometimes want support in the moment, and with Thinkific, you have to send a request and wait for follow-up. This can be frustrating. The flip side is that it forces me to do my diligence, make sure I understand my problems and goals, do my research, and ask the right questions. Website layout has few options to customise. So many extra add ons to pay for, the membership pans kept increasing in price and rather invest in uopgradng the platform, they seem to push paid plugins instead.

Cons outweight the pros. Support is bad( i had to contact 5 times to get a simple resolution as agents keep disconnecting the chat if you dont reply for 1 sec or their chat systems are bad, either way horrible experience) You can't customize a lot like they claim. I was charged for two sites and i didnt even know i had two sites until i saw the charges( very shady practice if you ask me and i wont recommend any one). I didnt even need two sites.
