What do you like best about The Receptionist?

The receptionist has made a huge difference for our practice in being able to manage patient flow when our office manager is not in (ie. after 5 PM and on weekends, when many of our providers offer sessions). It is also such a helpful tool to simply let the providers know when their clients have arrived! We have a big building, so no more trapsing down the hall and awkwardly lingering, looking for our clients. It was crazy easy to set up, and I had it running the day I got it. We love it! What do you like best about The Receptionist?

I like the customization options as far as button appearance and titles. It is simple to setup and implement.

The customer support is helpful and receptive. However, blaming the device manufacturer for shortcomings is not very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about The Receptionist?

The devices do not always communicate and often become disconnected from the network and/or Bluetooth stops working occasionally. There are limitations as far as what options can be added. The pictures printed on the badges could be much better. I understand it is thermal printing but in 2025, there should be better options considering the price.

I also don't like how the price is determined by the number of contacts. And the lowest is 24 contacts. That is very, very low. An office that small would probably not need something like that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about The Receptionist?

We have two iPads and two printers. We have to go in and make sure each ipad is hooked up to the correct printer every morning through the Receptionist app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about The Receptionist?

The implementation team was amazing about answering my numerous questions, and were even able to modifiy our account to create the perfect compliant software for our company's needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about The Receptionist?

I would like me information aka compliance guides on secure facilties such as ITAR registered. facilities. How to check documentation, what documentation would be flagges, ect.. I would also like there ID's (drivers license) be crossed reference with the united states watch list, and automatically flag visitors that are not permitted into the secure facility. What do you like best about The Receptionist?

Our office uses Google Suites to communicate intra office. The Receptionist has helped ensure clients are checked in in a timely manner. Our check in process is automated now which reduces the stress of forgetting to check a client in! It was easy setting the kiosk up, and even easier setting up the interface. Integrating The Receptionist was super easy. There was no issue. We use The Receptionist Kiosk in 2 of our 3 offices. We will at some point use it for all 3 offices! It's a staple in our office now. What do you dislike about The Receptionist?

I would love for The Receptionist to have an integrated way to scan ID cards and insurance Cards. I'd also love for The Receptionist to be able to allow clients to pay their copay prior to stepping back for their session. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about The Receptionist?

We started using The Receptionist a few months ago. They have amazing customer support and their product is easy to set up and use. We have used this program every workday for months. There was one issue we ran into and customer service fixed it right away when we messaged them with the problem. We looked at a few different companies and The Receptionist had all the features we needed. We were able to integrate the new system very easily and it now we are 100% paperless with our logbooks! What do you dislike about The Receptionist?

I wish that The Receptionist had contingency questions. If the question was, "Are you a USA citizen?" and they answered, "No" then a second question would appear asking them to type the name of the country they are a citizen of. What do you like best about The Receptionist?

The support staff and sales team were great.The application was very easy and simple enought to get things going. It takes a simple idea and adds simple technical steps to get it going. Implementation took less that 30 minutes per device and the support team even offered to just copy and paste the same settings to the other tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about The Receptionist?

I love that I can easily and consistently keep track of which clients are here and because of this, I can run payments confidently. It also saves me a lot of time, instead of having to contact therapists myself to let them know their client is here, The Receptionist does all the work for me. What do you like best about The Receptionist?

The user interface is easy to use and customizable. The implementation was seamless as we could easily import our contacts from our HR database. Whenever we had any questions the support chat team was right there and quick to respond to our questions with helpful links and step by step guidance.

The text notification that can be sent to specific team members is another favorite feature. Having guest be a able to alert the person they are visiting is great since the staff who receive the most visitors are often away from their desks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about The Receptionist?

So far the biggest issue we faced with use was setting up badges for the different "buttons". For example to apply a guest photo we had to go enable photo capture in another section for the option to be availble in the badge section.
