10 The Mintable Reviews

The community. Don't get me wrong... the classes, content, and learning are insanely valuable and exactly what I was looking/hoping for. But the community is what makes The Mintable special. I have ongoing communications with other managers that have gone (or are going) through the same things I am. I've been able to develop some incredible relationships and meet other people managers that provide a new/different perspective. I highly utilize my internal network but it's been so helpful to talk through situations, ask questions, and learn from others outside my org with a different background and that have a fresh set of eyes.
The content and classes were wonderful. As an individual contributor I found success by studying my craft, reading / listening to books and podcasts, and working closely with my enablement team. As an IC the most helpful was talking to other ICs both internally/externally for help/guidance. When I became a manager I quickly realized I didn't have a lot of those resources. Sure, I had some books / podcasts. And yes, I talked with others. But during those conversations I realized everyone was kinda just trying to figure it out as they were going. There didn't seem to be a "tool kit" or trainings I could go through like I did with Enablement.
The Mintable classes is where I found the solution to this problem. Shortly after I completed by classes I signed up 2 other managers and one "soon to be manager" to get them started on an incredible foot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
These aren't "dislikes" as much as they are "wish that's". I wish that the course was longer. The information and break out sessions were so valuable that it felt like more time was needed. I believe I did a 4 week course and 6 would have been even better.
Secondly, I wish that I had been paired with more managers in my department (sales). It was actually very helpful hearing from managers in other departments as it made me realize that while we were all in different industries, parts of the world, and departments we still were looking for the same type of education, still facing the same problems, and still had the same desire to learn how to be a better manager. However, some things are specific to a department and it's easier to talk through them without spending time giving context, defining jargon, and going deep on background. Manager training is often full of good ideas with limited tangible takeaways - that was not the case with Mintable's Accelerator program! I feel more confident as a manager with the training and resources provided. I left every session with so many notes about new ideas and processes I wanted to try, and there's been tons of excitement building on my team about the new things I've started rolling out. I appreciate the many actionable, tangible next steps from each class that can be easily applied to my day-to-day interactions with my team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Each class included breakout sessions where you could connect, share, and problem-solve with other managers in the program. My only feedback is that I wish we could've had more of these sessions because I found the small-group interactions extremely valuable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The Mintable programs (I have participated in two) provide dedicated time to put your tools down, learn about yourself and gain insight into practical ways to lead and grow your team. If you are transitioning into a managerial role from being an individual contributor OR looking for new ways to work with IC's you are leading and/or are looking for a long-term strategy to continually provide professional development for managers in your organisation, Get The Miintable. Less of a dislike, more of an awareness piece, you need time to effect change. When considering in providing professional development for yourself or your managers, this needs to be complemented with the ability to allow time to a) participate and b) continued time and focus to affect positive change Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are so many things to love about The Mintable and the program. The first thing that stands out to me in the community. There's an awesome network of managers/leaders at a similar level or higher always willing to help out.
Mintable has currated great content that gives me an advange at work. From handeling specific situations to broad change managment, they've got it covered.
The resources are another amazing tool to have. I am constantly looking at templates to help me and my team drive outcomes or changes. It's helpful to have a deep repository of templates to use.
Finally, the training and content. The Mintable team is amazing and accomidating. The trainings are engaging and content-full. They invite perspecives and workthrough real world scenarios with you. It's impossible to feel like you're not getting value out of it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't have any dislikes really! My one bit of feedback would be slightly longer manager trainings or spaced out. I think it would be cool to continue some of the conversations we had in my cohort too by encoraging cohort checkins or community engagement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My company used the Mintable last fall and it was a great pre-training program for our in-person management development program. It was easy to manage, create discussions, and distribute the relevant resources across the organization. The system and the guide were easy to use and most of my management were able to immediately utilize their training into their day to day. Overall, it a fantastic system that can directly correlate to the success of you business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The biggest challenge we had is scheduling across all of our managers. The times were in an international timezone or during the busiest days/hours at our company. With that said, Mintable team was extremely flexible and understanding.
Otherwise, nothing! It should be an essential tool for any business! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My company connected me to The Mintable, which has been essential to my growth as a manager. The Mintable not only set me up for success in handling challenging situations that managers are faced with, but they also upskilled manager basics that I would have never thought to revisit. The sessions were well organzied and interactive, keeping me engaged and allowing me to learn from other managers with varying backgrounds. I appreciate that participants are provided access to a handful of resources + templates and can receive help in 1x1 or community forum settings that allow me to learn from other's questions. I would recommend The Mintable to any manager! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really cannot think of any downsides to The Mintable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are two highlights of using the Mintable's training for managers:
1. The resources - learners are provided with templates, articles, decks, etc. that are so helpful in being an effective leader of a team.
2. The facilitators - the facilitators of the trainings are engaging and make the content easy to digest. They have a clear passion and enthusiasm for growing and developing leaders, and that comes through in their sessions! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish there were a curriculum specific to people new to the "Leading Leaders" space (which may be in the works, but I'm not sure!). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
