It is pivotal since we need to handle our workload utilization policies & access privileges across multiple users & their login devices. Ermetic also offers comprehensive security monitoring features so that authentication, authorization and validation of users are done properly before access provisions. The learning curve for implementing Ermetic in our AWS environment is steep. We require experience in configuring policies so that we protect our customer applications from advanced security threats. Setting up user access privileges should be done with adherence to customer compliance governance & to prevent conflicts between the security team & business processes. With Ermetic, auditing our AWS environment has become much easier. We can see exactly what entities have excessive privileges and where they come from. Tenable SC has been great for identifying vulnerabilities for assets within our environment, asset discovery, and visualization of the vulnerability reports for internal teams and executives. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Doing bulk operations requires knowledge of the Tenable SC APIs and how to utilize APIs. The LMS is not widely publicized, which leads to difficulty when trying to learn more about the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Tenable.io is a great package that takes the powerful Nessus scanner and adds a web-based front end to it that provides a wealth of information about your vulnerabilities and assets. Having full access to the data in a dashboard makes searching it easy. Roles within the system allow for access and role-based controls for viewing or running scans. Their support is fast and knowledgable. IO also has Nessus Network Monitor which is a great tool for being able to find IoT or MIoT devices the scanner may have ignored (due to scan settings - another plus). Tenable also provides it's own severity ratings which don't dismiss the CVSS, but provide a more realistic view of the severity in the CVE vs real-world exploitation. The only thing I dislike may not actually be an issue with Tenable.io itself. I wish they'd add a Meraki hook for credentialed scans. Currently, we can use SMNP just fine though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Tenable.sc is extremely flexible and reliable for use managing scanning and vulnerabilities. Tenable.sc can be beneficial to companies large and small and is always a wealth of information when deployed correctly.

When any issues arise, Tenable is quick to answer the phone and/or email to resolve issues fast. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable and always helpful when called upon. Tenable is a great technology partner and trusted firm in the industry. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Overall, the product is incredible. The one area that I dislike is that compliance reporting is fairly limited. While the scanning is accurate and thorough, getting the data out in a clean way can be a challenge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
