What do you like best about Talkwalker?

I have been using Talkwalker for more than 3 years now. I like the depth the tool can go into bringing results. Even when a nano influencer or small media website mentions your brand, Talkwalker's web crawlers don't disappoint you and show you the results. In almost real-time.

Trapped. Easy to set up, impossible to get away from it. Ugh, you can't delete your account without going through a 3rd party request, which still hasn't worked. Users can't delete accounts in settings, zero ability to control your account. Results include every job posting on the planet. In other words, if you want an alert for ICH Q9, instead of getting information on ICH Q9, you get every single job posting that lists ICHQ9 as part of the job, which =every quality professional on earth. Talkwalker isn't without its glitches. Tagging in Talkwalker can be slow to update, without notifications when tagging is complete, and delays in updating new tags to the filters section. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I would recommend Talkwalker to those using it to monitor one brand with several different products and campaigns. The thing I like the most is Talkwalker's free search feature, that allows you to get quick insights from large sets of social data without having to pay the large sums that social listening tools usually cost. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Talkwalker?

Having used other social monitoring tools like Brandwatch, Crimson Hexagon and Mention, I think that Talkwalker it's pretty similar to other tools and suffers from similar faults, like a steep learning curve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Talkwalker?

Analytics-focused abilities. They took real care to provide meaningful ways of presenting the data that's available on social.

Robust visualization and drilldown capabilities make it easy to share the data to stakeholders internally and externally. Many visualizations are available for each widget, with thoughtful options such as applying log scaling to the data in cases of erratic charts. All of the visualization widgets are interactive and allow you to drilldown on sentiments and topics.

Dashboards are enjoyable to create and share, allowing for browser access. Report generation into PDF and Powerpoint formats are also appreciated.

Managing data and topics are also easy, there's a consistent query syntax that's used throughout the platform and can easily be used.

What do you dislike about Talkwalker?

It can still be rough around the edges. Some error messages are difficult to decode, but client success managers are very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Try it out. They were very willing to give us trial access to the platform for assessment. Also, if you don't need deep analytics and tracking, you can take a look at their Quick Search solution which is also very useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Talkwalker solving and how is that benefiting you?

Keeping track of client brands reputation online, and conducting social media sentiment research. A few of our services are based on this platform as a source of data.

We're working towards creating API connectivity to extract data that their engine is capturing so we can use said data for reports created on Tableau. Data captured is from most relevant online channels, except for Facebook and Instagram where no tool can actually go.
