What do you like best about Tacton CPQ?

What do you dislike about Tacton CPQ?

We have encountered issues such as system failures and inhability to use Tacton during periods of time until the problem is identified and fixed, this has happened wheneverTacton does a product release, I would definetely recommend to improve their release process and inform the users what has changed and what is the impact.

The CPQ still has a lot of functionalities that need improvement or that are very limited Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Tacton CPQ?

Tacton CPQ is very good to resolve large complex solution offerings, detailing combinations of products/Sales BoM for a full needs-based solution. Easy to maintain and update as our product portfolio is being updated to serve more use cases.

With a large and complex portfolio, and having sales operating with distributed sales teams globally, CPQ assures that only valid products/solutions are being offered allowing all sales team members to prepare a budget estimate for a customer in all markets. License cost:

User based license setup is expensive and makes it a challenge broaden out in an organization to justify the cost per license, when it's not a daily tool for the sales organization.

What do you like best about Tacton CPQ?

The simplicity by which it handles complex configuration, pricing and quotation.

It has very simple ticketing process also for multiple users working independently. Also the release process to multiple environments is very easy and fast. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tacton CPQ?

The user interface is not modified so easily and it is mostly hard coded.

Also user creation in the software is a manual process right now which should be automated in future Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Tacton CPQ?

Being able to easily and quickly create cost structures by collecting cost and sales information, and being able to immediately update the cost structure according to the customer's requirements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The developers are knowledgable and innovative. Brainstorming is enjoyable and productive. What you think you need and what you design together are typically not the same and always for the better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The organization markets itself as global, Reality is, the company does not have the depth in key knowledge areas it needs to support medium to large global organizations. The gap is only managed with w/ 3rd party implementation support which is inferior. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Small company - write the check, you are their sweet spot.
