What do you like best about Swiftify?

The conversion quality is superb. I was surprised by how accurate the conversions are. It even works with Objc flags like NS_ASSUME_NONNULL_BEGIN. I was skeptical at first, but the conversion handled 90% of the work. The replace 10% of developer work was replacing ObjC enums with equivalent Swift enums. What do you dislike about Swiftify?

There were certain cases where Swiftify would try to be overly clever with "if let" to unwrap variables safely. However, it isn't a deal-breaker and only happens once in a while. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Honestly, give it a try. Pay $5 on an Objective-C file and find out the quality you'll be receiving from using Swiftify. That's what we did. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Swiftify solving and how is that benefiting you?

What is Swiftify?

Apple rolled out Swift in 2014 to replace Objective-C. There are still plenty of apps and projects that use Objective-C, and developers are faced with the prospect of either starting again from scratch or attempting to convert them to Swift. Swiftify for Xcode automates the conversion process, handling the task of replacing the syntax while letting you focus on the other aspects of project migration. As the name suggests, the service can be accessed directly from Xcode's Editor menu. You can convert a code selection or a whole file. You can also paste Objective-C as Swift. It's also possible to convert files directly from Finder without booting up Xcode. Select the files and start the conversion from the context menu. Finally, the Advanced Project Converter app included in Swiftify for Xcode is designed to help you manage an entire project. It lets you explore the project in a dedicated UI and select files to be converted. Processed files are automatically added to the project.

What do you like best about Swiftify?

It's a very effective tool to convert your objective c code to Swift.

In this tool, you can provide the entire objective c project, converting it to swift.

This tool is not converting exact word to word code, but this is helpful for the initial level.

The software is beneficial to those who are not familiar with objective c.

This tool has a limited free trial. Later you have to purchase swiftify key.

Sometimes this tool is not converting exact code from Objective c to Swift; after using this, you have to check your code once.

As an iOS developer, I have used this tool a lot.

What do you like best about Swiftify?

This app has definitely been the best app I've discovered in a while. I was working with a friend on his old app, and he wanted me to help him out by converting it to swift. I'm fairly new to swift, but this app made it so much easier to do. Of course you still have to put it quite some work, but it gets about 90% of the conversion correct. I love how the team is super responsive to any issues encountered, and how it is constantly being developed and made great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Swiftify?

Well of course there is no conversion tool that's perfect, but this app will gets you almost all the way there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Swiftify?

I like the fact I can just copy/paste and have my code already working. I even can choose the version of swift I want. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It happened to me that some lines of code (containing pointers to char) were causing the conversion to fail and all the code below those lines was not converted at all Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I don't know about about swift lang and at the time I am Jr.IOS Developer.

and I have the experience 2 year as Jr.IOS Developer when then my promotion in company at the time reject me because I don't know about swift at the time.Those time I decided to learning a Swift. then I was started Learning swift but it's too much hard for me. I was lot of experience with objective c but no idea about swift,When I start the learning but i can not handle it. It too much hard for me then I was getting Swiftify from Google Search then trying to Objective c Code and to Swift Code and it's too much easy for me.Easily understand swift code from convert objective c.Today I am happy because i am expert in swift and I was promote as Sr.IOS Developer.
