Supermetrics allows for easy integration of several paid media channels in which we have ads placed.

Sometimes the aggregations (dimensions) will lead to a difference on the overall values of the metrics and that should not be the case. Or at least it should be explicitly stated.

For example, when adding certain columns to our views (lets say, demographics) the total cost or impressions would change. I most appreciate Supermetrics' ability to consolidate data from various marketing platforms into a single, unified view. This significantly streamlines our workflow and reduces the risk of errors, allowing us to focus on analyzing data and delivering actionable insights to our clients.

I find the steeper learning curve associated with Supermetrics to be a bit challenging. While the platform is generally user-friendly, it can take some time to fully grasp all the features and customization options, especially for those who are new to data extraction and visualization tools. Supermetrics allows our agency to connect several dozen platforms from several dozen clients to create customized reporting. It enables our organization to do this without the need of our development team, or outside help, which allows us to allocate our development resources to other areas. It is a huge help. Supermetrics isn't as user friendly as we would like. That being said, with a bit of training, our team is able to get just about everything done! Loading time for large amounts of data can take some time. I feel like that is more of a looker issue than a Supermetrics issue mostly.

The initial configuration can be confusing, especially for first-time users. Some connectors require extra steps that aren’t always intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really like how Supermetrics has a very wide range of connections to other platforms, even some of the obscure ones. The transfers were straightforward and quite easy to implement. Auto transfers, and monitoring can be set up, as well as email notifications (to the team as well) if errors occur. Customer support can sometimes be long, but your customer rep would ideally be the first point of contact, who would then escalate an issue. Some connections do not have fields/dimensions that exist on the ad platform but SM cannot populate or extract that data (unknown why, recurring issue but no fix or workaround). Supermetrics gave our small, indepedent media agency a way to easily extract performance data from a wide variety of platforms. The ability to integrate with Google sheets and schedule queries allowed us to build automated reporting dashboards that save our teams a ton of time. We've had trouble with certain scheduled queries failing during times of high volume. Even when we adjust the query time to run when demand should be much lower, these issues have persisted for certain platforms like Facebook. I allows me to seamlessly combine multiple data sources into a single dashboard, allowing the Marketing team to have "forest" view of the whole marketing funnel and a "tree" view to assess each channel's effectiveness. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Adobe Analytics connector could be a bit easier to deal with. The server Outh does not work as expected when set up so I had to use the 2-week token (which is a pain to keep reauthorizing). Occasionally data sync issues with the Hubpot connector. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

1. It is a very useful which allows me to combine data across sources, so instead of exporting raw data for each source and merge using excel formula, I can do it automatically using Supermetrics.

2. The auto reload function allows me to create automatic reports & dashboards, which saves us a lot of time.
