I no longer feel anxious about checking email. Logging onto Gmail feels like arriving at a bombsite, no matter how many labels and filters I have set up. Superhuman separates my emails intuitively which genuinely reduces the stress of even *opening* the email platform by 10x.
Then there's the process of actually replying. AI replies and pre-written reply snippets double the speed at which I can reply to things (especially as I find myself typing very similar emails every day), and the keyboard shortcuts for literally everything makes the whole process feel smooth.
2 years failing to reach inbox 0 in Gmail. 2 hours in Superhuman, and it was done. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Occasionally freezes when opening the "Split Inbox" settings. This was most prominent during the onboarding tutorial, but it still happens occasionally, even when WiFi speeds are high. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I was on the fence about Superhuman, especially without a free trial. I had been looking into virtual assistants to support email management. I was always worried that I might miss an important email (and in fact, from time to time, had). I knew something needed to change so I decided to give it a try.
Superhuman gently prompted me to clear old emails out of my inbox. The hot keys make email management super quick. I really love that it automatically separates newsletters, which were a big part of why I was getting overwhelmed. Now I can make it through important emails in half an hour at the beginning of the day and (if needed, which is rare), half an hour at the end of the day. I set aside time to review newsletters when I can actually focus on them.
The platform is so easy to implement, I was able to jump in and get started right away. The customer support emails are exactly the right tone. I'm now a daily user, with really simple integration with my other processes. I can wholeheartedly say it has reduced my stress and saved me a lot of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While Superhuman has a lot of great features, there are still times that I go back to my gmail interface. Examples are when I'm quickly reviewing attachments (gmail allows you to view in the same browser window without downloading). I also find exsitng calendar/ scheduling functionality more preferable at this time, although admittedly I haven't spent a lot of time getting familiar with Superhuman calendar features. Suggesting times via Superhuman is quite easy. I haven't been able to use AI email generation much yet, but I think over time it will get more familiar with my tone/ style. Overall these are nitpicky, there is very little to dislike! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

That I've only been on it for 4 weeks and I've reached inbox zero every week. Love the keyboard shortcuts, and it's so fun to get through the emails. The best is that I can recognize promotional/spam/scam emails immediately and mark them as done from the inbox without opening them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The way it renders certain emails and handles collapsing quoted threads is not the best. It is sometimes hard to follow an email thread so I open it in Gmail instead. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Superhuman has changed my relationship with email. The user interface is so clean, quick, and all the tools make getting through email easy. I save time every day using Superhuman! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only downside is that Superhuman doesn't have a unified inbox yet. As someone who manages multiple email accounts, toggling back and forth between the different accounts does add some time to my experience -- a unified inbox where I could manage all of my accounts in one place would be very helpful. Superhuman start off by introducing "Inbox Zero", how to go through and prioritizing emails. Along with split inbox, AI writer, auto reminder, snippets.... lots of great features that outlook simply doesn't have, I go through email 100% faster on Day 1 adapting Superhuman, and always stay on top of important email threads! Calendar feature is a bit lacking and cumbersome to use. Lack group emailing/mail merge feature Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Superhuman really does help me get through and manage my email much, much better than I could without it. I love two features the most. 1) the way it can sumarize an email string down to a single line for each email in the chain, 2) the AI composition feature, that allows me to craft a response to most emails very quickly. I wish it worked with yahoo. I have a really old yahoo email that I still use. I totally understand why they don't support it, but if they did, I could have all 5 of my active email accounts under one app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love the process and the UI/UX of the tool. I have become fatigued by the overstimulating interface of my Gmail. Everything is constantly competing for my attention and I somehow get sucked in to reading and looking at emails that I actually am not interested in. I love how the simplicity of the design of SH as well as smart and intuitive shortcuts keep you focused on the goal of plowing through your inbox and doing triage, so that you can then focus on the handful of messages that you need to dedicate some time and effort to. Its a little pricey for something that you don't technichally NEED, but it does make life better so, to me its worth it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Usually simplicity in design is a purely aesthetic choice, but something about Superhuman's design actually makes me use e-mail more effectively. The layout of messages encourages brief, direct responses that get things done. The AI's ability to index all of your email allows you use the AI to grab info from multiple messages at once, saving time from extensive searches. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Superhuman is expensive. I don't know of any other e-mail client at this cost level. It really does save me time in a way no other client has, so in that respect is does prove it's value. I'd have a much easier time recommending Superhuman to others if the cost was $10/mo though. I also wish it had a unified inbox, but it's possible the split inbox is actually more efficient, so I'm mixed on the addition of this feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As a CEO I always look into expanding my 24 hours :) Superhuman helps me to add 1 hour on top every day.I t is an exceptional tool designed with a clear focus on maximizing productivity. As someone who was a power user of Gmail, with advanced setups like filters, labels, and automated workflows, I can confidently say that Superhuman has streamlined and simplified much of that complexity. It takes care of a lot of the heavy lifting I used to handle manually, which saves me considerable time. The speed of the interface is truly impressive, and with my engineering background, I find the use of keystrokes and shortcuts incredibly intuitive, allowing me to process emails much faster than before. Overall, it’s a game-changer for anyone looking to boost their email efficiency Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There isn’t much to complain about, but the AI can be a bit inconsistent. Sometimes it suggests brilliant, spot-on emails, while other times, the proposals can feel irrelevant or off the mark Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
