"Minimalist Yet Powerful—Superhuman Mail’s AI Makes Email Fast and Efficient"
What do you like best about Superhuman Mail?

Superhuman Mail sets a new minimalist standard for email clients. Even with its clean, simple UX, it still feels remarkably capable—genuinely powerful. I’ve used it on and off over the past few years, and when I signed up again recently, I noticed that new AI functionality had been added. That feature has already saved me a ton of time.

I’m one of those people who keeps important information in emails for years, and for the first time, Superhuman Mail’s AI tools let me quickly find and analyze that stored data. That alone makes the product worth using for me. On top of that, it also makes my day-to-day email processing much more efficient. Faster, more efficient email with a great UX—what more could a contemporary professional ask for? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Superhuman Mail?

There isn’t much to dislike about Superhuman Mail, but there is a bit of a learning curve. To get the most out of this product, it helps to take the time to learn the keyboard shortcuts and the workflows built into it, since they’re designed to make everything feel much more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Split Inboxes, Smart Follow-Ups, and Powerful Search That Save Time"
What do you like best about Superhuman Mail?

I like the split inbox feature and the automated and scheduled follow up features. Using the various keyboard shortcuts is very helpful and time saving. I also find the search feature more powerful than other email platforms I use, which is a blessing! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Superhuman Mail?

I wish there was a little more functionality about creating split inboxes. For example, I'd like to group more than one person together in a unique inbox and not just use the "VIP" box. I also wish I could have a better email signature. My coworkers use Outlook and have branded, pretty, signatures and I'm unable to do that on Superhuman. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Pia Regio of Superhuman Mail

Hey, Dani 👋🏻 thanks a ton for this honest feedback!

You can definitely create a Split for multiple addresses.

Just hit / then search using OR (e.g., from:github.com OR from:linear.app). Once the results look right, hit Cmd+K → New Split Inbox from search.

For signatures: Copying from the Outlook Web App (rather than desktop) usually fixes any "finickiness" with images.

If it’s still acting up, paste it into a Google Doc first, then copy from there into Superhuman Cmd+K → Signatures

"Fast, High-Performance Email with Smart Sorting and Keyboard Shortcuts. Big time saver."
What do you like best about Superhuman Mail?

Sorting of incoming emails into categories that I can process differently. Speed of keyboard shortcuts and overall performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Superhuman Mail?

Biggest issue, and one that stops me using Superhuman for my business email account is that there is no preview panel for emails. I need to be able to use a keyboard down arrow to go down the list of new emails and read the email without having to go into it.

I receive a large number of monitoring emails and the simple action of having to enter the email and then exit is one step too many.

I've also found that Superhuman struggles with my business email account as I have over 100,000 historical emails. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Pia Regio of Superhuman Mail

Hey, Steve 👋🏻 thanks a ton for this honest feedback!

It's definitely helpful, and I've made a note about your thoughts to share with the team 📝 We know those workflow details really matter, especially when you’re processing a high volume of messages.

On the categorization side you mentioned for your personal inbox: you may find it useful to know that you can access categories like Marketing, News, Social, and Pitch from the left area of the app. If you use the left arrow to move over, you’ll see those sections and can quickly scan emails that Superhuman has grouped there, which can make reviewing and deleting a lot faster 🙌🏻

"Speed-Boosting Email Game Changer with Minor Formatting Flaws"
What do you like best about Superhuman Mail?

I use Superhuman Mail for all of my email needs, and I especially love the snippets and read receipts. The read receipts help me know who is most interested in my emails or who is waiting for follow-up, so I can check-in with them. The snippets are great for setting templates that I need to send to a lot of people, but I don't want to send a mass email. It just makes everything so much quicker, and repeatable actions are much easier. The quick key commands are awesome and save time, helping me focus on the highest priority items first. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Superhuman Mail?

I wish I could highlight words and that I could put emojis in easier. There could be a little bit more of the formatting options that you get from a standard email client. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Supercharged Email Management, Needs Calendar Boost"
What do you like best about Superhuman Mail?

Superhuman Mail helps me keep my inbox organized and allows me to get through emails quicker. I really like the shortcuts that let me navigate quickly through what's important, reply, and archive emails effortlessly. The ability to reach inbox zero really relieves a mental burden for me. I also appreciate the auto label and auto archive features, and the scheduling capability for follow-ups, with emails returning to my inbox when I'm ready. This organization really helps me manage my day better. Integrated calendars are a huge plus too. The setup was extremely easy, with some of the best onboarding and walkthrough tutorials I've ever experienced. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Superhuman Mail?

I think the calendar features can be improved. I believe the calendar isn't necessarily fully featured. It is a mail client after all, but Google Mail and Google Calendar go so hand in hand that being able to schedule events with the full features that you can do through Google Calendar would be really helpful. Basic event creation is available, but more advanced features such as recurring meetings and multi-day meetings is currently missing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Pia Regio of Superhuman Mail

Hey, Brian 👋🏻

Thanks so much for sharing this feedback with us! I totally hear you on this. Being able to schedule events with more advanced calendar features, like recurring meetings and multi-day events, would be really handy.

Fortunately, we're planning to build out this ability in the near future. If you’d like to be updated on when we release this, please shoot us a note to hello@superhuman.com

"Efficient Email Management, Needs More Features"
What do you like best about Superhuman Mail?

I use Superhuman Mail for managing multiple inboxes efficiently. It does a good job of keeping each one orderly and allows me to reply quickly to any urgent messages. I appreciate how it sends me reminders within two or three days to follow up on emails if I haven't received a response. This feature ensures that my outgoing messages are followed up on a timely basis. The initial setup was pretty straightforward as it just involved connecting to my Gmail account. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Superhuman Mail?

I realized that I have to install a client on each machine because I access email from multiple computers like a Mac and a PC. I have to set it up every single time instead of having a cloud profile that syncs across devices. Superhuman Mail does not review attachments, so if I'm submitting a PDF or spreadsheet, it's not reading the content or context. I kinda wish it was more robust to do a little bit more for the monthly subscription. On the mobile interface, having quicker shortcuts would be nice, like for deleting emails versus the 'done' feature, which is more like archiving and can hog up storage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Pia Regio of Superhuman Mail

"Efficient Email Management with Superhuman Mail"
What do you like best about Superhuman Mail?

I really like the split inbox feature and the remind me functions in Superhuman Mail. The split inbox lets me collate similar emails together to help me review them quicker. I can have a split inbox for very important people who I work with and also split other noisy emails like calendar notifications and Gong notifications into its own inbox, which helps me quickly churn through those. The remind me function enables me to chase up customers on their actions or chase up colleagues on their actions. I also appreciate how easy it was to set up Superhuman Mail; it was up and running quite quickly with no complaints. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Superhuman Mail?

Using the mobile is a little bit more challenging with the split inbox. But apart from that, it's fine. Personally I think the mobile version should be about churn through emails and not have a tonne of functionality. If I'm stuck in a queue, I'd like to quickly cull some emails. Perhaps a Email Cull Mode could be implemented for this very purpose, a mode that dumbs down the email review process for the purpose of culling. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Empowers Email Management with Speed and Precision"
What do you like best about Superhuman Mail?

I use Superhuman Mail daily to efficiently manage my work inbox. I appreciate how it eliminates spam, promotions, and non-important communication, ensuring I only read important items. I love the commands; they're super easy to learn and fast to use. The initial setup was super easy and fast, even for someone who isn’t very tech-savvy. I definitely give it a 10 when recommending it to others. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Superhuman Mail?

The browser could be more visible. The icon for the browser is not very prominent, so it's a little difficult for newer users to locate it. Maybe it could be a search bar instead, like in Gmail, or have it look a bit more like search bars in traditional email providers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Pia Regio of Superhuman Mail

"Efficient Email Management with Intuitive Design"
What do you like best about Superhuman Mail?

I love the overall ease of use of Superhuman Mail on the computer and the way it flows—it just flows really well for an email software. I really like simple things like being able to hit 'e' on my keyboard to make an email go away or 'h' to remind me to follow back up on an email. These features enhance my experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Superhuman Mail?

Yeah. I think the AI drafting of responses could be improved on a better level, allowing users to customize prompts so that, for instance, if an email comes in related to when can I volunteer, the draft automatically knows that an email can be sent to give them a specific link or connect them with a specific person. I think that AI part can be improved. I think some of the automation could probably be improved as far as when an email comes in. I also think that the mobile and especially the iPad version does not feel the same as the computer version, and I think that could be improved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Pia Regio of Superhuman Mail

Hey, Scott 👋🏻

Thanks so much for sharing this feedback with us! I totally hear you on this. Being able to customize AI prompts for more context-aware replies, improve automation for incoming emails, and have a more consistent experience across mobile and iPad would be really handy.

Fortunately, we're planning to build out this ability in the near future. If you’d like to be updated on when we release this, please shoot us a note to hello@superhuman.com so we can close the loop 💫

"Lightning-Fast Email Triage with a Polished, Shortcut-Driven UI"
What do you like best about Superhuman Mail?

Superhuman is by far the fastest email client I’ve used. The keyboard shortcuts, split inbox, and overall UI make it easy to triage and clear emails quickly. It’s built for people who process a high volume of email and want to move fast. Once you learn the shortcuts, it genuinely feels like a productivity tool rather than just an inbox. The onboarding and polish are also excellent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Superhuman Mail?

The biggest downside is the price—it’s meaningfully more expensive than alternatives without being a must-have for everyone. I also don’t use it on mobile, which limits its value since I’m often checking email on my phone. Some features feel more like “nice to have” than essential, and if you’re not fully committed to using shortcuts, you won’t get the full benefit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
