I like Sublime Text's exceptional speed and performance. It launches quickly, and its efficient handling of large files makes it ideal for programming tasks. It offers advanced search and replace functionality with support for regular expressions, allowing me to quickly find and modify code across multiple files. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Only thing which can be improved is Unlike some other text editors and integrated development environments (IDEs), Sublime Text does not have a built-in package manager. While there are third-party package managers available, the absence of an official package manager can make it slightly less convenient to discover and install plugins Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sublime Text comes with an extensive set of features and plugins so anyone can find something useful specifically for his task. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The number of features maybe overwhelming at the beginning and there's definitely a small learning curve is required to master the app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love that Sublime Text is lightweight and fast. It's remarkably fast and efficient, allowing you to work on your coding without experiencing any lag, even when heavy resource-consuming applications run in the background. It's cross-platform and works on Windows, macOS, and Linux, which is a considerable benefit as it allows you to seamlessly work across different OS, including the widely favored one among programmers in Linux. The extensivity in customization offered by Sublime Text is excellent. You can change the theme, color schemes, and keyboard hotkeys. You can cater the editor to your preference and boost productivity by having essential tools on easy-to-access hotkeys. Like other IDEs, Sublime Text offers many features to help your coding, like syntax highlighting, auto-completion, search and replace function, and multiple tab support. Features that Sublime Text lacks can easily be implemented with plugins and packages found on the website. You can improve functionality, add support for programming languages that aren't built-in, and more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sublime Text is closed-source, so you cannot modify the IDE to meet specific needs. It also heavily lacks built-in collaboration features, making it less viable for real-time collaborative editing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hard to manage extensions. this is the problem I faced Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Quick toll for not taking and formatting text. I have used it for json formatting and also store some texts. Also editing code. The main advantage is it supports wide range of file types. Sometimes I used to see the hexadecimal view of some compressed files Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing much some times it lags while opening big files. No much customisation. Less plugins and Not automatic saving. GUI can be modren and improved. Need much more UI updated Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love the split editing, it helps me to the have multiple panes and edit the same text files as I like. Also, it is very fast and the performance is improved a lot in recent version. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are lots of features they can introduce to stand in a competition with other note pad editors, but they are lack in updating their software in a regular interval. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I would love the sublime text because the way we can open entire folder and do the code level changes. Functionalities like easy file creation, searching functionality, many shortcuts to switch the files, edit the same words in files and many more. Which makes your efforts easier. All things are good but they can add more functionalities which VS code provides and make more rich. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- Converting file to different syntaxes like JSON, SQL etc.
- Collapsible sections of code which makes easier for coding
- Find and replace: Able to find and replace from all open files Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- Does not have debugging feature like Visual studio code
- There is no version controlling
- sublime license can be expensive for some users
- if we are on free version, every time on opening the app, we are told to purchase a license. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
