"I've been using streamyard since post-covid webinar era"
What do you like best about StreamYard?

Streamyard is a really powerful webinar audiovisual realization tool. With fast learning curve either for webinar organizers and speakers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about StreamYard?

When inviting speakers at streamyard you need to advise them that it not works with Safari. And users can't see the overlaying video when sharing screen if they use only 1 monitor Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about StreamYard?

WE never wanted to be in the live stream and or podcast business. It is due to the user-friendly features and aspects of StreamYard that WE jumped in, and it is a critical part of our operation in saving lives. It is becasue of StreamYard that WE are able to reach veteran, first responders and supporters from all parts of the country. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about StreamYard?

There are a few features that I think the platform could use, such as a mass mute button, maybe another way to use files from your computer as a storage space and there are occasions that the connections are a little off, but overall it is the best platform that I have tried to date, and they are more than willing to listen to our ideas. It does require a significant amount of memory and downloaded files are very large. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The best virtual event product out there!"
What do you like best about StreamYard?

Very easy to use as a developer, and easy to share instructions for participants. Excellent capabilities for sharing to multiple platform, fun and effective branding options even on the basic paid plan, and fantastic customer service from the Live Chat! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about StreamYard?

The only capability I would like to see would be the ability to share a screen and navigate a presentation whilst viewing the full stream, but I understand this is likely impossible! Otherwise, nothing to suggest. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"StreamYard is amazing and simple to use"
What do you like best about StreamYard?

I love the ease of use. The stability of the stream is outstanding. The platform is nearly self explainitory. The new feature being added weekly only make it better. I also enjoy the Sunday night shows with the two founders. They give great insights on where StreamYard is headed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about StreamYard?

The biggest issue is having to give my co-producers/directors direct acces to my account. I would like to limit how much access they have. One disgruntled person could destroy and entire network of programing. I'm not too fond of some of the limitations on banner length (amount of characters)

I want to be able to rearrange scheduled shows on the dashboard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamyard is easy to use and so helpful! I think it has helped to save our business!"
What do you like best about StreamYard?

The ease of use, the ability to use .gifs, the ability to stream to more than one platform at the same time.

I can show videos which is great.

Seeing the user feed is helpful.

Being able to make quick graphics is important and it's very easy to do that on streamyard.

The ease of being able to do interviews with one or more people. I can send a quick link to someone and have them pop on the show and connect with my customers. Not only does this help our business, but it helps to get attention to the publisher, artist, or writer that we are interviewing. Because of no comic book conventions happening, this is important.

There are many things I want to try using streamyard and while it is very easy to learn, I think there is a lot more that I can do with it. Just need to get the time.

Also, the customer service is exceptional. I was having a streaming issue and the people that helped on the chat line were extraordinary. Ended up that it was a bad 'hub' on this end, but they still tried everything that they could to help. I was very impressed with their dedication! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about StreamYard?

I wish we could show our feed for live comments. When doing live shows to different platforms, people don't see the other platform comments (ie. Facebook users won't see comments from youtube).

I also wish that you could choose a side for the pictures used. I would like to be able to be on screen on one side and show a picture of something on the other side.

On facebook, I wish we could also stream to our personal pages. I think that may help.

There really isn't much that I dislike about this so I can't really write more on this! Just the wish list from above. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Was a real gamechanger during 2020"
What do you like best about StreamYard?

StreamYard was by far the easiest - I might even say "idiot-proof" - streaming software, and we tried several in the early days of the pandemic. We were able to connect, invite guests, add videos and pictures with absolute ease. We especially love how we could feature comments from our audience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about StreamYard?

The setbacks - such as the limit on guests, size of videos that could be featured - were overcome with updates over the past year. So thank you for that! Otherwise, I think my only suggestion might be to find a way for producers to login without getting a code through email. There does seem to be some sort of issue when too many people login as producers - it seems to slow down and lower the quality of the video? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"This is an excellent tool! I love it it is so versatile. It has so many capabilities."
What do you like best about StreamYard?

I love the fact that you can be punching cameras remotely from another computer. I like the fact that it allows me to put graphics and play videos. This is a great tool to have if you like producing live shows or events. I love that it allows you to go live on multiple platforms. I love that you can connect any camera or audio input and select it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about StreamYard?

I would love to see a feature that allows you to dissolve between scenes. Even if it is a button with 15 frames dissolve or something like that. I don't need a fader. Also, I would love to have control of the volume of the clips playing. I come from a News background and we usually do a lot of voiceovers, or sometimes we want to play a little bit of the audio but keep the video on and low. There is no way to control the audio of the clips uploaded.

I would love to see a place where you can buy templates for graphics, full screens, bullet points, video boxes, things like that.

I wish there was a way to play mp3 files or music in the background.

I wish there was a way to put the comments received automatically in the stream. Also, a button to turn them off as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"great tool to reach new followers"
What do you like best about StreamYard?

The ease of use with mobile devices has been a highlight. Being able to send anyone a link to join the stream is cool. Even though you can stream to Facebook, YouTube, Twitch and Periscope simultaneously, I'm excited to try the custom rtmp features. Being able to have a custom live stream with comments from all of the different platforms on your own businesses website will be major for small brands in 2021. It will also prove to be the most valuable to musicians and artist alike. Live shows or streaming events live will also be a highlight this year, streamyard with make that way easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about StreamYard?

There's not really much that I don't like about the site. Not being able to stream to Instagram was annoying until I learned about how much cooler it would be to get a custom stream to my brands website. 4K streaming would be cool if it didn't cost too much or require too much upload bandwidth. Not sure how that works. I don't like having to get the log in code emailed to sign in every time. An easier sign would be cool. Maybe Faceid passwords. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"I love the ease of use and professional look that Streamyard gives to my livestreams"
What do you like best about StreamYard?

It's super easy to use, there's barely a learning curve and you're streaming a professiona looking Live in a matter of minutes. I love that.

I currently don't produce a live show for myself but I do for a couple of clients and they're super glad with the results that they get. They definitely keep doing streams with me and that is thanks to Streamyard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about StreamYard?

I feel like there's nothing that I don't like about Streamyard. I love that they keep adding things so anything that I find lacking in or not that good gets resolved quickly. Oh, the thing that I don't like is the small GIF size allowed for uploads. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best Way to Stream and Manage Video"
What do you like best about StreamYard?

The best part of Streamyard is the ability to include live guests in a separate feed and integrate that into my own broadcast. Additionally, the ability to highlight comments on the video is invaluable to making other viewers feel included. I like that I can see comments from both of my YouTube streams in one place. Finally, being able to share a split screen with my feed helps me to manage the information I'm trying to share with my viewers so that I'm not just talking about a topic, but showing them where I get the information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about StreamYard?

There's not really anything that I particularly dislike about Streamyard. The only improvement I would make is being able to identify which stream my commenters are replying to when I'm streaming to multiple platforms. I never know which stream I'm getting comments from. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
