"Feedback"
What do you like best about StreamYard?

The best part of the streamYard is that you can broadcast your stream to multiple destination or platforms which provide ease for content creators to do their work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about StreamYard?

The only thing which still not liked by most is that it's still limited to 10 users on-screen. This is really sometimes irritating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Way Better Than Pitched"
What do you like best about StreamYard?

When I was originally introduced to StreamYard, it was pretty good. But I started a subscription just last month and WOW have they changed things to be even better!

Recordings being saved so I can download them whenever instead of just for 14 days. I can upgrade my account so I can have a separate audio track for each participant (making it super easy to record a professional quality podcast with people from all over the world). I can even prerecord content and use StreamYard to stream it to multiple platforms at the same time.

Oh, and you can participate from your phone! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about StreamYard?

I don't currently have the funds to afford paying for the top tier subscription, which would give me the ability to record each participant as a separate audio track. So I love that feature, but I can't use it yet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Program That SURPASSES Your Expectations"
What do you like best about StreamYard?

My name is Jake Wheat, and I Produce shows for various artists that experienced a pause in touring due to the 2020 pandemic. Our immediate need was for LIVE streaming, and we needed a production-quality platform to help us meet the challenge.

Every step of the way, Streamyard was there. Every single step. We rarely had an issue, and if we did the support for Streamyard was there and was able to help us keep the show going.

Improvements were always a surprise, but any other service does NOT match the value of the software platform and the subscription. We had a software company want us to pay them a 6K annual fee to use their platform, but Streamyards enhancements surpassed their expensive pricetag - one that during the pandemic was literally a lifesaver due to a cease in income.

I will use StreamYard for all of my projects, and we just ended Season 2 of one of our weekly live shows, and will have more coming in the near future wit

Thank you Streamyard! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about StreamYard?

I have ZERO complaints, and all of the improvements they have provided have offset the need for this question. We can do everything with this platform to enhance our stream, and I have no complaints. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"This is really a amazing tool."
What do you like best about StreamYard?

Managing camera images is the best part for me. The stability is one hundred percent.

In addition, the branded banners and add-ons and our clearly readable "Private Chat" are really the spotlight. and we’ve used it in every meeting.

Whatever the quality of the user's camera, it always reaches all participants.

The screen components are well organized, which is very good for those who are managing the videoconference.

Pre-scheduled meetings also have an interface that is easy to understand and handle. The screen components are well organized, which is very good for those who are managing the videoconference.

We still use the Standard version, but I foresee the possibility of switching to the professional version, because at that time the use of this great tool proved to be very useful. "A hand on the wheel", as we say. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about StreamYard?

We might be able to add only streaming audio to make more space on the main screen, when the slides are being displayed by the speaker. And that is all. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simply the Best!"
What do you like best about StreamYard?

When we got the idea to run a live show on facebook every week, I thought the only way was doing it by Facebook Live, but then I saw a Streamyard ad, and after 2 minutes I was sure that it was THE solution. Now we run our show 3 days a week, we have guests, art, videos, banners, backgrounds, see the live chat and show discretionally on screen.

And we stream live to facebook and YouTube without any pain :D

We love Streamyard!

Nothing, everything is great. We love it all! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The best Livestream option for Beginners and Intermediate users."
What do you like best about StreamYard?

Streamyard is not a software. It's a service. That said, your computer doesn't need to be the best in the market to work well. It just needs a wired internet connection, a Webcam, and good content.

The webpage does all the heavy load for you and distributes your Livestream to Youtube, Facebook and Twitch all at once if you like. After the Livestream it's recorded, so if you need to upload it or anything else happens to your video, you have a backup for a few days.

I like that it gets updated regularly, so they provide more accessible solutions like using video with sound when you are live-streaming.

Inviting people is so easy because they don't need to download anything, just a browser.

And you can also put your audience comments if you like.

The price is so fair and un-expensive for everything they are providing. Other products are double the price and not that friendly.

They have a free trial with a watermark, so you can check it out before being on the paid service. The paid service is so much more for what you are paying. And this kind of service allows you to grow your channel fast without a lot of money. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about StreamYard?

Obviously, nothing is perfect. You cannot add a music track yet. I hope Streamyard can upgrade that. The templates for banners and scrolling banners are limited, so a lot of channels would look the same as yours if you use those a lot.

The customization is not there yet. We are talking about a simple, easy, friendly service. So maybe for a lot of customization, this is not the best product.

Also, make sure you connect your internet with a wire. If you don't, then you might suffer lag in your videos and your guests. Being connected with a wire solves a lot of problems.

Other than that, it's an excellent product for the price. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Stuck following other provider's rules"
What do you like best about StreamYard?

Ease of use and great background and overlay features. ESPECIALLY being able to bring viewer comments into the video. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about StreamYard?

I'd love it if the banners and overlays could be made clickable. Also, at the end of the day, it's an interface and not a stand-alone service. This means I'm stuck following Facebook's or YouTube's or LinkedIn's rules. For example, at the time of this writing, Facebook limits you to 8 hours of streaming per month. I was using Streamyard for a 10-day virtual summit and we far surpassed those 8 hours on day 2! We had to move the summit to a different platform in the middle of the event. Lastly, I wouldn't mind seeing Clubhouse as a streaming option in the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"I LOVE StreamYard. It got me through working through the Pandemic."
What do you like best about StreamYard?

The ability to work remotely is great. The ability to work remotely WITH other people is even better. StreamYard has allowed me to create programs and performances with people in different parts of the country and the world. It's also technically simple enough to get a good enough program with very little skill on my part or on the part of my guests. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about StreamYard?

I wish I could actually control a bit more or others could control a bit more when it comes to sound. That's been the biggest complaint that musicians have had that it doesn't interface with programs like OBS. I would also love to solve the latency problem so that people can perform together in sync. "Great Option for Streaming Live Interactive Content"
What do you like best about StreamYard?

Streamyard includes so many features for a reasonable price. I really appreciate how it can connect to different platforms like YouTube and Facebook and allow poeple to be a part of the conversation during a broadcast. It is also nice to be able to share my screen as I am teaching and pull up questions from the comments section into the live broadcast and talk about them. Streamyard also includes the ability to use graphic overlays and share videos as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about StreamYard?

There are not many things that I dislike about Streamyard. I do think that it is unfortuante that there is an additional charge to stream in HD beyond the regular paid account. I've had some connection issues recently, but the tech support folks have been very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
