What is StatusCast?

StatusCast is hosted status page management software that allows users to manage and build their own corporate status page. Using this tool, IT departments can schedule maintenance and promptly communicate application downtimes to customers and employees via email, SMS, and social channels. No coding is required as StatusCast features codeless integrations with third-party SaaS platforms, customer application support, and ITSM solutions. Also included are communication templates, custom alert automation, and status pages are highly customizable. With a user-friendly interface that is easy to configure, clean and concise, and a responsive support team always available via chat and other channels. What do you like best about StatusCast?

I like how simple the app can be for users and admins. There are many options to use, but they aren't necessary to get up and running. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about StatusCast?

We use multiple components that are separate products (on one site). We don't like that the up time percentage calculation includes all components. It would be a great option to split it out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My company had an outdated and cumbersome notification system with a half-baked incident management site. StatusCast has made incident and maintenance management infinitely more efficient for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about StatusCast?

We're able to better manage client and provider customer service experiences thanks to StatusCast. We select which incidents generate notices and which are "post only". As an externally hosted resource, communication is available even when our applications are not. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about StatusCast?

We have found it difficult to manage subscriber lists within StatusCast. It is a rather manual process to sort through users. In addition, the use of StatusCast for multiple applications makes it more difficult to target messages to specific components. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is StatusCast solving and how is that benefiting you?

When applications encounter issues, customer care centers become inundated with inquiries from clients, field support, providers, and internal resources...a time when resources are already strained with identification and remediation. StatusCast has allowed us to alert our stakeholders of issues quickly following detection, keep them informed, and notify them of resolution in an efficient manner. What do you like best about StatusCast?

Statuscast is simple to use and administer and has a nice integration suite... But the one thing that I like best is their responsiveness. The StatusCast team has been fantastic to work with, answering every question, taking feedback and adjusting any time necessary. Truly customer focused. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about StatusCast?

Hard to put dislikes at this point as most everything that we have brought up, they have either had an answer for or have since added capability. To pick one thing that would be nice is more Admin control over users in the native tool so, for example, I could add or modify member information (like components, contact preferences, etc) especially for VIP users. Even with this, the StatusCast team has always been willing to help us do what was needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Even if it does not meet your exact needs, give it a shot. Tell them what they are lacking and give them a chance to solve it. That has been my experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Our challenge was trying to get to more directed communication around changes, issues and outages inside the company. What do you like best about StatusCast?

We have several different services across multiple platforms. Keeping tabs on each status and being able to accurately and rapidly post information on them for our users to access in realtime is incredibly valuable to our support staff. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about StatusCast?

The admin interface could use a few enhancements but otherwise I don't have any real issues using or navigating anything. My complain is purely aesthetic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is StatusCast solving and how is that benefiting you?

Notifying and keeping users informed of outages and network issues helps cut down the amount of time our customer service staff spend on the phone explaining issues to customers. Being able to mitigate these calls helps everyone out tremendously! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about StatusCast?

Great way to let people know how the status of your services. With a Little work we manage to keep notifications flowing automatically via Email and Twitter using MS Flow Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about StatusCast?

Not much, only that ther should be a better integration with popular Support services like Zendesk. A there should be a wider pricing tier. ALso maybe let the client use its own domain Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Before we had to create a Marketo campaign with every update, which besides not providing a central place for the customers to keep an eye to the updates, it makes harder for us to keep track of the messages and who receives them.
