The dashboards and slack integrations is awesome, very useful and functional. It leads people in the company to follow the data much more closely which is the real goal here. The model builder is flexible and can do much of what you want to achieve if a little patient. It's not full features likes many of the competitors but what you need is there. There is a serious lack of documentation for SQL model builder. Their support makes up for it but it would be way nicer to have proper documentation. Some features are also rough are the edges. For instance there is often a too aggressive rounding up on some numbers and a couple of KPI that is negative when they increase get portrayed as 'positive' with green arrow and such.
