It simplifies your work a lot when you make estimates of any kind, it is easy to use and has many useful tools to be able to develop your work well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
sometimes it fails but we must understand that it is an online software where it also depends a lot on your internet connection Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The thing I like best about stack is the cloud-based storage, which makes it great for multiple users performing takeoffs. Everyone can see what everyone else is doing wich is very convenient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are just some little nuances that I dislike about the software. Mainly when looking for takeoff's through the list on the side bar it won't take you directly to the page that the takeoff is on. You have to be on that page and then hover over the take-off on the sidebar to see where it is. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like how I can acccess all of my plans online wherever I am. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't like that it doesn't work very well on your phone Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Stack is an easy to use take off software that is cloud based, so multiple users can collaborate on a single take off. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes it is hard to find a take off once you have closed out of the page its on. There is a tab on the left side but it doesnt always take you exactly where you need to be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Stack is excellent from the ground up. It's simply well-built software, from an intuitive interface to the detailed and customizable archive of items and assemblies. The value Stack brings to takeoffs and estimating is worth every penny. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The trial period is short and limited, with a hefty upfront annual price tag. Accurately determining the value Stack can bring is challenging in the trial period. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
user friendly and accurate program. easy to share Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
the print option needs a little work. not easy to share just one sheet Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The application is versatile and easy to use. It allows you to do takeoffs quickly and easily from any PC in the world. The support is great and the developers have a long list of improvements from the user community that they are always working on. The improvements that have been made in the past year have been super helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The price is my least liked part. They charge you for all features like estimating even though you do not want them. They also charge you double the price if you add a second user instead of a reduced price. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Easy and fast to use. Very easy to train new estimators with this software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Needs a better way to share notes and information with a team when multiple estimators are working on the same project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Slow, less functions than the other 4 take off software I tried, false advertising, increases time threefold it requires to measure the easiest of take offs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Limited capability, worst take off software I have yet tried, staff is vicious, dishonest, unethical, thieves, promising call backs after robbing you of your hard earned money and ignoring. Their refund policy does not exist. It is a sham and they will keep calling you and trying to prove there is nothing wrong with their software if you want your refund and they refuse to concede their software is severely flawed and therefore refunds are unavailable to unsatisfied customers. This product should be removed from online advertising as it unethical to refuse refunds if it is easily manifest your product is flawed. I have also tried leaving their product a review on their website but their site does not allow it. So the reviews shown on their site are fake. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Stack's versality is what makes this platform exceptional for construction professionals. Whether you do take-off's by hand, another platform, or photographic memory. We all can get to the same number of bricks, sticks, & mortar. It is hard to call Stack an estimating software, because it is so much more. The power of the platform makes estimating a breeze; the real work starts after getting down to the quantity of your materials. Whether it is sharing your take-off within a team for revisions, sharing plan changes through the cloud with a vendor. Field changes can be noted and circulated to subs or vendors with an e-mail link. As a developer we are starting to send "test" runs to my sub base with the share and invite features; for bidding assemblies and managing progress.
We recently rolled out a new residence model and went through the peer review process using STACK and it could not have been more productive; MEPs, Concrete, Suppliers, Architect, and Engineer were all able to redline any problems, or request a detail that would have been overlooked. Moving forward with the project, we know we have minimized surprises or plan busts. At the end of the day it is construction things are bound to happen; all we can do before the first stud is banged is minimize risk and STACK pays for itself. The plan bust caught by a trade; would have amounted to thousands of dollars to correct during construction.
The service is unrivaled, the STACK pros are always available for assistance; and regular updates and webinars/and one on training keep the user up to date on enhancements made or suggestions to get the most out of the program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
STACK does not fall short in many categories I'm sure there are some; but, as a daily user of the program I honestly do not remember the last time I was frustrated with the program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
