Top Rated SportsEngine HQ Alternatives
Some of the options when creating a team page. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The UX isn't intuitive, the reporting is limited, and rostering takes a long time. I wouldn't recommend this system if you are running a league with more than 2 teams. It seems built for smaller programs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Coming from a FileMaker software background, I found that having an entity, like Sports Engine, provide USA Skateboarding with much needed membership quidance, as the times have been changing, was instrumental in our continued growth as a sports organization for our membership. Compliance of ALL memberships is essential and working with Sports Engine made it professional and helful. The staff at Sports Engine are knowledgible and take the time to understand if a question is asked. They make it easy to utilize the Sports Engine website, making implementation areas of HQ easy to use, especially if you use the platform often, and it seemed to integrate well with our Compliance procedures.
I am grateful to be a part of the membership HQ for USA Skateboarding and Sports Engine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I can't think of a downside to Sports Engine as it has proved to be essential for the membeship of not only USA Skateboarding but all athletes in a sports environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As a member of our Admin Leadership Team that works primarily in the backend of SportsEngine, I have found it to be incredibly intuitive and user-friendly. I was the member of our team to build the public-facing website, and found it to be very easy and efficient to do.
I was able to work with our SportsEngine representative for a short training session ahead of building the site, and I had very few questions during my build process due to the comprehensive training and access to support if needed.
Our SportsEngine representive (Mickey) was also very helpful in helping set up some custom questions and registration notifications that gave us the ability to gain further donations for our non-profit and subsequently, recognize these registrants/donors in a timely fashion. I have not found anything that I dislike as of yet. I did have a question about building a specific export I needed because the "exact" filter I was looking for was not available, but we figured out a way to run a report that suited my needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The Customer Service is Top Notch!!!I am our youth football league Secretary and I know a little about computers but nothing about building a whole website with registrations and lots of extras! They help us to keep our league looking very professional and easy to add photos, schedules, announcements! Setting up the background screen and registrations that are completely entered online were easy to do. If I needed anything changed - I simply chatted or sent an email and was met with thorough, easy to navigate directions. They are so friendly and changes to set-ups are done super fast, even if you make a lot!! I recommend anyone who needs help getting their league brought up to date to use Sports Engine! Only thing I wish was better is the mobile user process. I had some parents who had troubles when accessing the site through their phones. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When SVSEF outgrew the registration platform that we had been using, we went straight to SportsEngine. The customer support before, during, and after implemenation has been amazing. The SportsEngine Team took all the time we needed to make sure we were setting up our registration platform in a way that would serve the needs of our families, coaches, and business department. Once we learned our way around SportsEngine HQ, we found that it was really easy to use. The reporting is excellent too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are few limitations with SportsEngine. One of the upgrades that we would like to see in the future is an interactive Wait List whereby an HQ Admin can automatically invite a Wait Listed athlete to register for team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The upside of Sports Engine is the integration of the webste to the app. All families use the app. Coaches and famliies communicate and schedule events through the app. While the website and app integrate, most families just use the app on a daily basis. Thie app makes everything easier for familes. To ensure this is all working easily, customer support through Sports Enngine is easy to use and responsive. Calls and chat features make it easy for all to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The one thing we dislike is uploading games from an Excel or CSV file. It takes longer but it is much eaier to type in ll games, one by one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Everything in one place. I can see my team roster, chat with them, and schedule practices and games. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The app was a bit buggy this season with a key function missing (messages to the team) removed without notice. It seems to be back with the latest version. But very frustrating to have that feature missing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We are an all volunteer ski program in the midwest and needed an effecient way to register and communicate with our volunteers and atheles. SportsEngine was easy to implement and what we could not figure out, customer service was quick to jump in. We were able to combine background checks so our volunteers just need one account. I think SportsEngine is a wonderful platform to keep everyone updated - from scheduling games and practices, having the RSVP function and being able to include locations is a real game changer. The chat function is nice also to keep everyone informed, ask questions etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I'm not a fan of the newer update where you can't see a monthly layout. Everything is by the day and with multiple kids in sports it's nice to see a calendar layout listing everything on any given day. I find it less appealing and not as user friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
