Time management, allows for growth at a pace that suits me. We have grown but the level of admin hasnt changed allowing me to focus on working on making our club better for all involved.
Charlene has been a key factor to introducing the product, and then account managing. I am always pushing the capabilities and Spond are very forward thinking. Its a really great system.
The safeguarding aspect of the system is amazing, and parents and coaches love how it works.
Tech isnt everyones cup of tea, but most boxes are ticked and people are now used to using it.
#itsonspond was a term well used by me, but that seems to be less as people have adapted.

The lack on auto generated payments, needs a Xero or accounting software integration.
Could do with an intergrated coaches availability calendar or a place to add holidays that would then appear on dates as they are entered.
The app only allows you send 100 messages at a time, so I am not able to send the whole family of 400 people a message at once.
Cant refund app payment requests.
Email account integration with outlook would be good, and logged telephone calls with the ability to make a note, but not a massive thing.
Finance payment request to be seen in app also.

Easy to use across every platform. Easy to set up and get everyone on board. Easy to keep everyone up to date with what's going on and where. I find the most helpful part of the Spond app is the creation of the 'Events' and how quickly you can duplicate a previous event to reduce duplication. Also, the reminder functionality is very helpful to chase up non-responders quickly and efficiently! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would like to be made aware more of the full functions and features of the App as new developments are made, I don't ever remember being notified or given any details on how to use these or could be beneficial to me, for example, the fundraising feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We use this to organise events for our charity. It means everything is in one place, beneficiaries know what is happening, what they have booked and all the details rather than us having to use multiple platforms. Having to book children individually on events - when you have multiple children it's a pain (and expensive with transaction fees)

The ability to set a maximum number of attendees for specific events, and also have them scheduled in advance. The communication with juniors, including their guardians, the ability to take payment directly via the app, and this setting members as attending, means that we don't have members turning up saying they will 'pay next week' etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is no credit facility built-in. So if a player pays for a session, and 2-3 days before they become ill (or contract covid, etc.), we have to add the amount they paid into a custom field manually. Then when able to attend, they have to request to use the credit they have, and we have to manually add them. If there was a way to set up rules that automatically gave credit if declined x days before scheduled start (perhaps set this on the event), and members could use this credit towards other events, paying any remaining in the same way. The ease of setting up events, sending out invites, and tallying who is "in" and "out" for each game makes Spond very useful from an administrator standpoint. My teammates appreciate the ease with which they can respond to invites and enjoy the platforms flexibility across its app, the Spond website, text, and email. The messaging features in Spond need a major overhaul. Messages appear in numerous places--in events, in event responses, and in groups--making it very hard to track and respond to conversations. Spond is an incredibly user-friendly solution that allows us as an organisation to manage over 200 participants to get involved in over 100 events throughout the year. This has literally saved us hours of work! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
