The platform is equal to or better than paid services like Vendr and Tropic, but at no cost.
Also onboarding was super simple....connect your systems automatically, and the Spendhound tech and team does the rest. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing identified at this stage. It's free and definitely worth more than free Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The renewal reminders are super helpful - especially because we receive reminders prior to any "lock-in" notification periods before the actual renewal date. The SpendHound tools are also super helpful for updating system owners, renewal dates, and any other data that the backed tools are not able to pick up. I also love that the SpendHound team checks in with me (as the primary user) in person to follow up and make sure that I don't have any issues using the tools. My only feedback to SpendHound is that I would like to see some features related to my own usage, such as indicators of how many licenses ar ein user vs how many I have licensed. This would make it even easier for me when it comes to renewal time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love how easy it is to use SpendHound. I love that I can integrate Google Suite to see who is signing in to what tool and how often it is being used. I love that SpendHound connects to QuickBooks to bring in Vendors and Vendor spend which can go against the agreed upon contract pricing. Having the up to date spend with our many different vendors is very helpful so we can make sure our vendors are sticking to the contract pricing and not overcharging us. I love that it is truly free. SpendHound is a much better product compared to Vendr or Tropic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really wish Spendhound would integrate with Airbase. This is our AP tool and all spend runs through Airbase. If we could integrate Airbase with Spendhound, then the data in SpendHound would be much more accruate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

SpendHound has enabled us to gain an incredible level of visibility into all software spend company-wide, and has been an extremely useful tool in the effort to reign in shadow-IT spend. It works great to keep track of all renewals and store/organize contracts, and assign ownership of different platforms to the relevant stakeholders.
The fact that the platform is free and comes with a great amount of customer support is amazing. It is a mutually beneficial relationship, where anonymized data benefits them, and we are able to use the platform and get help with benchmarking our spend against other customers of the same platforms.
Getting the data connected and the platform implemented was fairly straightforward, and their team handled most of it on the backend. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are some platforms which don't have enough benchmarking data at this point in time, but the platform is very new so I can't fault them for that. Otherwise, there are some quirks with setup and the user interface which could be improved for ease of use, but it seems like they are constantly making improvements in this regard. Their team has identified key opportunities for us to negotiate contracts that we were overpaying for. They compare what we are paying to what their customers are paying, and even provide sample emails likely to help reduce our rate while reducing the amount of back and forth with vendors. I like the visibility of all of these conversations in a dedicated slack channel so that I can review contracts by my department or others and see the progress of negotiations with Spendhound experts. Nothing so far. There have been one or two smaller vendors they did not have data on, but their team is quick to provide pointers regardless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

FREE! For a free platform, they are amazing as aggregating your data, putting it into a clean dashboard, and allowing you to track very important information such as contract terms, renewal dates, active user counts, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
All upside to use SpendHound but they continue to get better and better based on what their customers ask for Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that Spendhound has a connection with my accounting software. I also like the ease of use in uploading contracts. The support team has been great as well. Implementation went well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think the least helpful is that it is only maintaining SAAS contracts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Uncovering Subscriptions for Monthly, Yearly is paramont - so many of them may be out of sight out of mind. Many can be negotiated on renewal and many can be removed as not needed. SpendHound helps with this process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There could be more deeper analytics but that is on the roadmap. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

SpendHound has helped us to organize our abundance of SaaS subscriptions as a company who has acquired new brands over the past few years. We've got all of our agreements, due dates and reminders in one spot and assigned to specific team members. We are able to easily identify redundant software and SpendHound is attentive and provides comprehensive guides to renewing our subscriptions. It takes a lot of work off of our shoulders and gets us out of an outdated spreadsheet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We look forward to seeing the additional improvements that will impact the way we view files associated with each subscription. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love the organization of how the online software accounts are shown in the portal. It's very easy to see everything that we currently have active, and any upcoming renewals we need to take action on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
the only downside would be trying to find all the contracts for our software. This is what I dislike about our side not Spendhound. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Their solution is simple but they are open to feedback and continue to evolve their platform. The staff is helpful and responsive. We've seen value from its use from day one. The integration with Netsuite took minutes and we had our data in a day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The platform lacks some features found in comparable solutions, but it's free! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
