What do you like best about Specright?

I think the biggest strength of Specright is its ease of use. While many spec systems take a week or more of training to use effectively, anyone who regularly uses a computer can navigate the Specright interface. This means that you don't need to be a superuser to pop into Specright, find what you need and be back to work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Specright?

While large and midsize companies have no trouble justifying the cost of Specright, it could be a barrier to smaller companies or those who have yet to see the real value of a well-managed spec system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Specright solving and how is that benefiting you?

Specright is allowing us to do 3 things better than we did in the past. First, we use it to compare the cost of packaging materials such as corrugated or honeycomb. Second, we use it to reduce the proliferation of duplicative specifications. Specright is able to compare new specs being created to existing specs and warn team members that there is a similar spec already in existence. "Support is not fast enough / adept enough"

What do you like best about Specright?

Customization of templates, ability to add in functions as needed/revise existing templates. Ability to pull reports. Being able to track changes in history. Competitive pricing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Specright?

Conga report system formatting is outdated / does not have much customization (i.e., cannot resize pictures). The support team takes forever to reach a conclusion with the correct resolution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Specright?

Our implementation team was simply fantastic (special shout out to Bri). It is so helpful having someone that is familiar with packaging and its terminology onboarding us. Being able to communicate so effectively about some of the more minute details of our packaging specs made the process of integrating much easier. It was also a big time saver that Specright had numerous templates as starting points, which saved us from building from scratch. But still able to personalize the system to our specific wants and needs. The search features are phenomenal and a big time saver in sifting through all of our data (my personal favorite feature). What do you dislike about Specright?

There were some minor customizations that were not feasible, so it isn't fully customizable. With that said, we found it to be 99% customizable to our needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Specright?

Cal Poly's Packaging program introduced Specright's Specification Data Management into its curriculum a few years back. Together with this platform and PackSight (Packaging Test Planning & Reporting for ISTA Standards), our students are being trained on digitizing and linking specifications together towards creating visibility and traceability across CPG supply chains. This experience provides tremendous opportunities for our students towards comprehending the packaging landscape as they become professionals in this recession-proof industry.
