Sovos makes it convienent to check TINs against the vendors name as we on board new vendors. We use this feature on a daily basis. When it comes to uploading and doing a mass check on TINs we get very little errors when processing 1099s. When processing 1099s the Sovos team is very responsive when we have questions or issues. The product is a web based product so we can access it from anywhere and the implementation was very smooth. I would highly recommend their services. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I wish Sovos would send a curtisey email at the beginning of the year with the instructions on how to upload information into their system for 1099s. This would cover any changes that have been made and would be convient to have in case we have new people or can't locate what was used from a previous year. Upsides of utilizing Sovos is that once you upload your files, Sovos takes care of everything else. If anything does not click they will provide an update so you can resolve and reload the corrected file. At the end of it all, we receive a confirmation of the total amount of 1099s that were filed and in the event we have rejections, we will be notified of that as well.
