"Intuitive, Fast-Innovating Platform That Streamlined Our Processes"
5/5
What do you like best about SmartSuite?

SmartSuite is very intuitive to use and build thanks to their welcoming UI and build philosophy. We have leaders throughout our organization that are able to learn it in a day and build full solutions for their areas. Many leaders are seeing process improvements with automations, better data collection, and dashboards.

Linking solutions together also allow us to collaborate across the organization.

SmartSuite licenses have paid for themselves thanks to the many applications that we've been able to eliminate. Those that have had their processes moved to SmartSuite agree that their experience has improved as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SmartSuite?

Nothing that we can think of. They innovate very quickly and any gripes we have had have been resolved with some patience. SmartSuite is very responsive to feature requests and their feature release rate is very impressive, especially with the enterprise-grade features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Jon Darbyshire of SmartSuite

It’s wonderful to hear that leaders across your organization can confidently build in SmartSuite and see improvements through automation, dashboards, and connected solutions. Thank you for recognizing the value of our governance features and for sharing how SmartSuite has simplified your work.

"One place to run the whole operation"
4.5/5
What do you like best about SmartSuite?

It was easy to set up in a way that fits how we actually work, not how some template thinks we should. Linking related records together keeps everything connected, and the automations take care of the reminders and handoffs that used to slip through the cracks. The dashboards give us a quick, clear view of where things stand without extra effort Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SmartSuite?

To me there is no downside to using SmartSuite. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Jon Darbyshire of SmartSuite

Thank you for sharing how SmartSuite has helped BRB bring your work together. We’re glad the flexible setup, connected records, automations, and dashboards are helping your team stay organized and respond to customers faster.

"Flexible enough to fit our business processes, not the other way around"
5/5
What do you like best about SmartSuite?

Flexibility and ease of use. It has a true relational backend, so I can link data across apps in ways a typical CRM won’t let you, and that’s helped me find correlations and trends I wouldn’t have seen otherwise. It’s also really easy to build in and doesn’t take long to learn, so we went from idea to something the team was actually using in a short time. Time to value was quick. On top of that, the SmartSuite team has been great. They’re supportive and willing to add features when we need them, and since the platform is so flexible, those requests don’t take forever to show up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SmartSuite?

My main wish is around the look and feel. The dashboards could be more compact and modern, and I’d like more control over how they’re laid out and styled. I’d also love the option to move the main menu to a vertical bar on the left and build custom navigation, so each team could get to what they use most without clicking around. None of this gets in the way of what the platform does, and given how quickly the team ships features, I’m hopeful it’s on the roadmap. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Jon Darbyshire of SmartSuite

Thank you for sharing such thoughtful feedback! We’re glad SmartSuite’s flexibility, relational data, and ease of use helped your team get up and running quickly—and that one platform now supports your CRM, customer portal, and internal workflows. We also appreciate your suggestions for more modern, customizable dashboards and navigation. We’ll share them with our team.

"SmartSuite: Powerful Customization, Great Templates, and Phenomenal Support"
5/5
What do you like best about SmartSuite?

I like the templates because they give me a solid launching point when I need one. That said, I also enjoy starting from scratch. SmartSuite’s functionality is better than anything else I’ve tried, and the level of customization makes it easy for me to build exactly what I need. SmartSuite’s support is phenomenal as well—I never feel like I’m left waiting for an answer. The pricing fits within my budget, and I don’t have to worry about surprise fees or unexpected add-ons. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SmartSuite?

There are only two things I wish they would improve. First, document creation feels rough and has some issues. I can use an add-on to work around it, but not without paying for an additional service. Second, I wish the automated emails allowed a signature line to be inserted so they feel more personalized. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Jon Darbyshire of SmartSuite

Thank you, Kelly. Templates as a launching point and support that answers quickly are what we aim for. Your two points are noted: document creation should feel finished without an add-on, and automated emails should carry a signature line. Both are with our product team. Jon Darbyshire, CEO

"SmartSuite’s Flexible, All-in-One Platform That Streamlines Operations"
4.5/5
What do you like best about SmartSuite?

SmartSuite's flexibility and versatility allow us to manage project tracking, CRM, vendors, cash flow, SOC case management, and other operational workflows in one platform. Its customization, automation, and centralized visibility help us streamline operations and improve efficiency across the business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SmartSuite?

Reporting could definitely be better. I also wish Outlook integrated more natively. Once an email conversation is linked in SmartSuite, it works well, but getting existing conversations from Outlook into SmartSuite can be a challenge. This was especially frustrating when we were migrating over. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Jon Darbyshire of SmartSuite

It’s great to hear SmartSuite is helping your team reduce tool switching and keep work and follow-ups organized in one place. Thanks for calling out the challenges with reporting and bringing existing Outlook conversations into SmartSuite, especially during migration. Your feedback is valuable as we work to make these workflows smoother.

"SmartSuite Tracks Incidents Well, but Email Consolidation Needs Work"
4.5/5
What do you like best about SmartSuite?

In my role as a Business Systems Analyst, I use SmartSuite to manage Reports. It gives staff a structured way to submit incident details and lets our team organize and track reports by date, building, incident type, and status. The record fields and activity history help me understand the workflow, review how reports move through the process, and discuss requirements or issues with AppDev. Having the report information centralized makes the process easier to follow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SmartSuite?

In our workflow, some submitted incident reports remained queued instead of appearing in the scheduled summary email. It takes extra effort to find where the process stopped and whether the issue is in SmartSuite or the connected email workflow. A clearer activity log showing automation attempts, selected or skipped records, delivery status, and errors would make troubleshooting faster. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Jon Darbyshire of SmartSuite

Thank you, Isha. I am glad the Duty Report process has one structured place to live. On reports that stayed queued: each automation has a History tab listing every run, its status and each action's error, and a record's activity history links to the run that changed it. A per-run view of which records were selected or skipped is a fair ask; I have passed it to our product team. Jon Darbyshire, CEO

"Intuitive Interface That Streamlines Change Orders and Task Handoffs"
4.5/5
What do you like best about SmartSuite?

What I like most about SmartSuite is the interface, as an estimator it allows me to be informed on any change orders that come in from my Project Manager. When I finish the change order it allows me the ability to transfer the task back without the need to write an email. The process to integrate our old system into SmartSuite was not difficult as other systems we have used in the past as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SmartSuite?

In some ways its the need to make sure people are using the software. If there was a way to have something notify the person like A.I. of the task that they have unfinished work that would be helpful. The software is only as good as the people using it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Jon Darbyshire of SmartSuite

Thank you, Marcus. Handing a change order back without writing an email is a good example of the platform doing the busywork. A nudge to people with unfinished tasks is a fair ask, and it is already on our public feedback board where you and others can vote for it. Jon Darbyshire, CEO

"SmartSuite Streamlines Our Workflows with a Customizable All-in-One Dashboard"
5/5
What do you like best about SmartSuite?

The ability to customize all of the inputs to fit our needs makes the platform incredibly efficient to use. Having information from different solutions brought together in a single dashboard is especially helpful in our work environment. A lot of our day-to-day processes have improved because, instead of jumping between multiple platforms to gather and organize information for decision-making, we can handle everything through SmartSuite.

Overall, SmartSuite has worked very well for our daily workflows. We rely on several solutions to manage a large volume of information, and being able to connect everything in one place without impacting performance has been particularly valuable. We haven’t experienced any major issues with speed or reliability, even as we continue adding more information and building out additional processes in the platform.

We’ve also used the AI function to summarize information, and it has performed well. Support has been available since the beginning, and pricing details have been shared whenever we’ve needed them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SmartSuite?

Some features take a little time to learn, especially when you’re building more complex automations. At times, it requires a bit of trial and error to get everything working exactly the way you want. One improvement I’d really like to see is an option to rename files uploaded through forms. We handle a large number of documents, and being able to assign specific names would make organizing them much easier. Overall, there are a few areas that could be improved, but once everything is set up, it works very well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Jon Darbyshire of SmartSuite

Thank you, Georgina. Bringing several solutions into one dashboard without the speed dropping is the result we want. Renaming files uploaded through forms is a clear ask and I have passed it to our product team. Jon Darbyshire, CEO

"SmartSuite’s Record Linking Creates Strong Connections Across Operations"
4.5/5
What do you like best about SmartSuite?

I like the way SmartSuite links records and creates a good connection between the various operations performed. The link allows one to relate a security finding to the associated review, the team handling it, the evidence, and the actions that will be done to solve it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SmartSuite?

Creating complicated relationships between records takes time and one has to configure the fields and the linking in a proper manner. As the workspace grows, the work of configuring fields and linking can become tiresome. I wish there could be some help in identifying unnecessary fields and in simplifying complicated workspace structure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"SmartSuite Does So Much—Backed by Amazing Customer Service"
5/5
What do you like best about SmartSuite?

I love SmartSuite! The program can do SO much, and I’m always finding new ways to use it. One of my favorite things is the amazing customer service. I especially love the daily office hours where I can just hop on, ask questions, and get help when I need it. It makes learning the platform and figuring things out so much easier. The support team is great, and it’s nice knowing there’s always someone available to help. Overall, SmartSuite is a great tool with an even better support team! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SmartSuite?

SmartSuite can sometimes feel clunky to use, and the interface isn’t always the most intuitive or user-friendly. With so many features and options, it can take some time to figure out the best way to do things. The platform is constantly evolving with new updates and features, which is great, but sometimes those changes can cause things to break or stop working as expected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Jon Darbyshire of SmartSuite

Thank you for the thoughtful review! We’re thrilled SmartSuite helps you build workflows and forms, and that our daily office hours and support team make it easier to get the most out of the platform. We appreciate your feedback about the interface and occasional issues after updates, and we’re always working to make SmartSuite more intuitive and reliable.
