Haiilo Reviews & Product Details

The tech support is very professional and always available. We have opened heaps of tickets in the last year, and most have been resolved. On the desktop version, Haiilo is easy to use and the structure of pages, communities & events makes sense. The forms are fantastic and are our most used feature. We couldn't use one of the expensive additional features we had booked for months, and had to put a lot of hours of work into just finding what the problem is. This eroded trust in the intranet itself.

We noticed after a while, that while Haiilo claims to try to always develop with their customers wishes in mind, if you have needs that are contrary to what most Haiilo customers need, you are simply disregarded. Features which we have regularly used have, for example, been taken away from us in favor of a new development which did not do anything for us and we did not ask for. Biggest example here: The change from customizable mobile homepages to the mobile dashboard. The big question: Why not leave the customers the choice to go on board with the changes or stay with their old established processes?

While the desktop version is customizable and visually easy to understand, the app is becoming more and more illogical. Sometimes not even our IT team understands where to click to get to where they need to go.

We have bought the M365 integration but ended up not really using it as Haiilo integrated into Teams didn't work satisfactorily, and SharePoint documents were always easier to find via Microsoft than via Haiilo. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Was mir an der Mitarbeiter-App am besten gefällt, ist die einfache und schnelle Kommunikation mit Kollegen und Vorgesetzten. Dank der Chat- und Benachrichtigungsfunktion bleiben alle stets auf dem neuesten Stand, ohne dass man auf E-Mails oder Aushänge angewiesen ist. . Ein kleiner Nachteil ist, dass die App manchmal etwas langsam lädt, besonders zu Stoßzeiten. Zudem könnten einige Funktionen, wie die Suchfunktion oder die Filteroptionen, noch verbessert werden. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Haiilo ist ein Tool das man auch ohne IT Erfahrung gut nutzen kann. Das Baukastensystem macht es einfach einzelne Seiten, Abteilungen oder Pages (Communities) zu erstellen. Die Funktionen die es gibt denken auch eine Vielzahl an Anforderungen für ein Intranet ab. Außerdem gibt es eine ganze Reihe an Widgets die alles von Linkbutton bis Bildergallerie möglich machen. Der Nachteil an Haiilo ist die Schattenseite des Baukastensystems: Leider ist vieles vorgegeben und daher nicht immer 100% mit einer gewünschten CI zu verbinden. Außerdem ist das Tool sehr für aktive Kommunikation unter Kolleg:innen gemacht, für einen eher passiver Anspruch (z.B. nur zur Informationsmitteilung) ist das Tool weniger geeignet. Haiilo is far more than just a platform for us – it is the central hub for our internal communication and exchange among colleagues. We are particularly impressed by the user-friendliness: whether user, page, or community admins, everyone quickly finds their way around. This makes content creation easy and noticeably increases engagement on the platform.

But Haiilo offers more than a great platform. The Help Desk is reliable and helpful, the Haiilo Breakfast Club ensures regular exchange, and the Client Community allows networking with other companies and staying informed about product updates. The annual Client Summit is particularly valuable – a perfect opportunity to gain new insights and learn best practices.

Of course, there is always potential for improvements. As a standard product, Haiilo cannot cover all of our individual requirements – but that is the case with any software of this kind. Great tool that perfectly meets our needs. In addition, it is easy to use and easy to integrate. The staff is always reachable and support requests are processed quickly.
